Eversley FC Floodlight Application - Support Needed

YellowBoar

Recommended Posts

YellowBoar,

Just looked at the Hart District agenda for 11 April. Your application is up for approval. :D

Think you have restrictions on when you can use them though. Page 48 item 5 gives details. Use once a week up to 22.00 hrs

and 20.00 hrs the rest of the week. There are some other conditions also. Nothing to worry about as I see it.

Of course the committee (Councillors) will still need to agree it though. Generally they don't go against the officer recommendation.

All you need now is a load of money I guess!!

Good luck

I received a notification of the hearing which is set for next Wednesday at 7pm in Fleet.

Unfortunately, I have a cricket course that evening which I cannot miss.

Best wishes to Eversley.

The time restrictions stated by Chuck Berry sound like a standard recommendation to me.

1 midweek game a week divided between 3 teams (1st, reserve and youth) could work.

  • 2 weeks later...

And the result is ........

Permission granted

Full steam ahead

Thanks again for all the support given

If true, there are some pretty tough restrictions placed on the use of the floodlights:

1) Cant use before October 15th or after April 30th

2) Can only use 3 times per week between 2pm & 8pm i.e. no evening games / late training :(

3) Can't have a public address system

Can you appeal those conditions?

Point 2 includes usage one evening per week until 10pm. This is listed on the official planning permission approval.

The public address system was not part of this application, so it can't officially be turned down.

Let me know if anyone wants any further info

Hi wm will check on the other points but the second point we are allowed to use the lights once per week till 10pm which would mean a 7 30 ko in a cup game instead of 7 45 . Don't think we would ever be allowed to train on the pitch anyway by the groundsmen would not be happy.

When we went over Bank Holiday Monday we were told Clem had left and the message from all, including players was good riddance,

Sav is in sole charge, can you confirm YellowBoar?

Is that the right Sole NG?
