hi guys

after making friends with some of your supporters at lowestoft, espically the darts players,

we are all looking forward to the game on monday,

just wondering what the parking, pubs, eateries are like near to your ground

The Bridge has on site parking (will be limited come Monday bcause of the huge crowed expected)Plenty of Street parking also avilable.

 

A great club House with good beers and friendly Urchin fans.

Hi from hornchurch' number one darts player lol

Parking-should be plenty of parking,we have a top field we usually use for big games,hopefully we can use it but I think it depends on how wet it is up there but should be ok.

If not there is plenty of roadside parking with no restrictions and there are car parks in upminster about 10 minutes walk from the ground.

Pubs-the windmill is about 3 minutes walk from the ground in St marys lane

The Essex yeoman is about 10 minutes walk from the ground,this has sky sports,pool and a darts board but doesn't have the best selection of beer

The crumpled horn is a Witherspoons type pub and about 7/8 minutes walk

Other than that,Hornchurch town centre has a few pubs etc but about 20 minute walk or 248 bus to the ground

Otherwise there's the club bar,which will be busy but I think available for everyone,maybe the club have plans for extra catering re food & beer etc

There are restaurants in both Hornchurch and upminster with take aways,all the usual stuff.

Fish and chips near the windmill pub,is ok but probably not upto the east coast standard!!!

Sound a friendly bunch but not sure about our wishes for the best team to win.

There's only one team i want to win and they'll be playing in red and white

I like the way Lowestoft play and their fans seem like a good bunch of people when I've seen them.

Hope they have an off day on Monday!

yep we had an off day at the office when we came to yours,

we have 3 coaches from ltfc probably another 1 from a local club, plus us quieter ones driving up !!

So Lowestoft have a 1st team, goalkeeping and fitness coach + 1 from the diving club. They also think Hornchurch is further North than Lowestoft.
