patemondo Posted May 28, 2012 Share Posted May 28, 2012 I dont think it is unprecendented as i believe the SSML did it several years ago. The UCL considered a 4th Aug start but the majority of team were against it. Personally i think the 4th is to early for the league season to start. The extra prelim rounds are a lottery anyway with all the teams having players on holiday or serving out suspensions hung over from last year.
