Dunstable Town v Aylesbury (this game off and was replaced by Dunstable Town v Arlesey Town, last known score on twitter was Dunstable winning 3-0 although result not confirmed)

Result 3-0 to the mighty blues.

Was that Aylesbury FC? Another season of struggle for them if so

Pete,

With reference to Saturday 11th August

Totternhoe v Tring Athletic should read Totternhoe v Tring Athletic Reserves (as stated on Tring Athletic website)

Hoddesdon Town website shows the first team with two fixtures on the 11th, home to Berkhamsted in the FA Cup and the friendly at Bury Rangers (Looks like Hoddesdon Town have a massive first team squad for the coming season)

Dean Barker has joined his former club Cockfosters as he wasn't guaranteed first team football every week. He started Saturdays game at Tring on the bench and decided that he would have a better chance of starting more games at Chalk Lane. Shame as I like Dean and his family a lot and we could have done with as larger squad as possible but competition for places this season is huge and nobody is guaranteed a start. Dean was injured for the majority of his stay at Lowfield and never really got the chance of an extended run in the team. Whilst on the sidelines, he took up the role of under 18 manager and did a creditable job too. Cockfosters is Deans local club and im sure he will be glad of the shorter travelling!!

We all wish Dean well and look forward to him breaking into Cockfosters first team, who by the way, are assembling a pretty good side themselves this season! Dean will always score goals wherever he plays and could form a formidable partnership with the likes of Protien and Pigden!!

My guess is that something happened to prevent the game going ahead, the usual story with Kentish Town in other words

Lots of friendlies been cancelled this summer, hardly a reflection on any particular team.

I don't think we need Mystic Meg's help to see another Rhodes pet hate raising it's ugly head here do we?

More to follow no doubt...

Yes but it's always Kentish Town with the sob or hard luck story, isn't that more than just coincidence

Rhodes the game did go ahead.

You seem to have a major problem with Kentish Town FC I am giving you a chance to sort this out once and for all, pm me your telephone number and I will contact you, then at least the good people of this forum do not need to be bored yet again with your rantings about KTFC.
