I don't think that Phil was their manager - Young Veteran and Loop would be able to tell you about Sheerwater's player recruitment.

On the Knaphill front. Ruggles is a good player. Question is if he was helping the coaching at Sheerwater, then why could he not attract players at the start of the season and why can he now at Knaphill?

Or can he?

Please don't misunderstand me I wish him well.

Would it be anything to do with the lack of money at Sheerwater and the abundance of it at Knaphill? (Redders leaving will save them a fortune ;) )

bobuk thats a little harsh there are many players that aspire to play senior football who currently play Junior or Intermediate football which is actually park football. And if were honest pro players probably say anything below the conference is "park football"

I would say step 4 is a lot more serious, step 5 has about 3 clubs that are professional enough to go up the rest our happy enough to rot at step 5

i wouldnt say clubs are happy to rot there, thats harsh. no club wants to 'rot' some clubs are happy at that standard as they cant afford to go up or improve facilities, or become more 'professional'.

and its 'are happy' not 'our happy'

If you dont care about winning or losing you shouldnt be playing any competitive sport at any level in my opinion

totally agree. No better feeling (football wise) than coming off on Saturday afternoon knowing you've got three points
