Commiserations Canvey - you kept the profile of our league going for so long and recruited to my knowledge at least four new supporters to non league football - we on the other hand have battered Billericay 4-2 so what can you say? A funny old game!!

You think watching Billericay is painful? I'm still here you know. Suffering in silence most of the time. Enthusiasm levels are not high. Try watching the Eagles for a week or two - then you might know a bit more about pain. So often we threaten to start a run of form before becoming spectacularly bad again. Harrow are the only thing saving me from complete despair.
Happy New Year everyone.

Hiya BEagle you've been noticably quiet of recent!! No New Year cheer to shout about and as you say thank 'eavens for 'Arrow!!
Gazza/Simon when I said battered I didn't quite mean that - the score line it would appear flatters but nonetheless registers you another defeat - any news /speculation on the listed players front?? We could do with one or two although Simmo seems quite happy to take on the world at the moment!!

We could also do with a ref that has courage.

Calderhouse should have been sent off. The no. 7 with Carthy should have gone for retaliation after the foul had been commited. A penalty in the first and second half.
Personally, we sat back in the second half and should've taken the game to you but the protection the ref gave your players was disgraceful. If he had a yellow shirt under that black one, I would not have been surprised.
And I know that Blaney was being baited but he asked for it when he gave a "V" sign to the supporters. He should have been sent of and fined 'cos at a more volitile game, he could've incited trouble.
But these are minor gripes. I don't think we deserved to be beaten but hey, when luck is running against you, what can you do.
Power to Braintree for riding their luck and taking their chance.

Wasn't at the game - decided to spend Saturday in Swindon but the consensus amongst our fans was we sat back too much after taking the lead.
We just need somebody to supply a spark - went to watch Bristol Rovers earlier in the season and they looked completely devoid of confidence - "Duke" Ellington returns from injury and starts a good run of scoring and they beat Derby! No news on the player front as yet.... Will be interested to see how the team line up at Sutton on Saturday.
