DEREK 9
Great news, now all we need is the goalscorers to find form.
I am Spartacus 83
Great news have managed to sell my sun lounger(used to lie on it during matches to follow the ball) on ebay to some bloke in Dover as he says he needs one now
Tesco Bazza 6
Does that mean we cannot find someone? Or does it mean we might have found someone who is under contract till the end of the season? Cugley is the only one they have spoke to if I'm right and he turned us down. So what names will be in the frame
BlueGate Alan 154
Holloway and Osborn are in the frame, makes perfect sense to me and I hope the pair of them do well for us.

So what names will be in the frame I'm not going into any detail but we have stated publically (the official website) that a number of interviews were conducted in addition to contact with Neil Cugley. Coffin Ender 160
Great news have managed to sell my sun lounger(used to lie on it during matches to follow the ball) on ebay to some bloke in Dover as he says he needs one now Oh, he didn't do too badly. 16th when he joined, 2nd when he left. Our best manager since...Chris Kinnear. Anyway, good luck to CH. Not easy having two roles, player and manager.
Tesco Bazza 6
Don't think a player coach role will ever be that practical would rather see a manager managing his team not a goalie no offence to craig he is doing a great job as caretaker
dflman 80
Don't forget Simon Osborn has plenty of nous - good luck for the rest of the season to them both
Bluesfan 5
Great news, now all we need is the goalscorers to find form. Or perhaps with the salary saved on not paying a manager and his sidekick we could bring someone on board who is capable of scoring goals?
michael 98
I wonder if our management team will select Chris Kinnear to play in the dartfordcup tie ?

We have players capable of scoring goals. But for whatever reason they are not doing so.

Bluesfan 5
We have players capable of scoring goals. But for whatever reason they are not doing so. Both of our apparent first choice strikers have ten goals a piece in all competitions and 9 between them in the league- I know we were totally spoiled first half of last season but that just isn't enough
Coffin Ender 160
They both have a track record of scoring at other clubs. It is unlikely you are going to find a prolific goalscorer at this stage of the season, nobody is going to let someone like that go.

geoff pay 10
This is becoming a nightmare season after so much promise!!
michael 98
This is becoming a nightmare season after so much promise!! Apart from our usual early cup exits seems a pretty good season to me. From about 16th last season to possibly top half this season is slow steady progress;and that what is required. It was never realistic to go from 15th to top so quickly. Was really hoping we could go from top half to top 5 ,and ideally win league outright next season, but another management change loses us some continuity again.

michael 98
Makes sense making the appointment for longer-gives all parties a bit of breathing space. My only slight problem with it,is if it does not work out, an alternative appointment haS TO BE MADE IN EARLY aPRIL TO GIVE THE INCOMING MANAGER A LOok at the current squad, and a full close season to rebuild the squad to his/her liking. If an appointment is made after the season ends, you will lose alot of time/players in the first half of the close season, and start on the back foot (again) next season-so yet another season will be lost . That given-i really hope that it works out for CH and SO. Not great that we have lost 6 out of 7 ,bu no reason why we can't win the next 6 out of 7 Edited February 21, 2013 by michael

I am Spartacus 83
Nothing wrong in appointing Hope Powell as Margate manager. Infact what a positive step imagine the amount of extra income it would bring into the club.
Tesco Bazza 6
Don't think we need another publicity stunt like the no swearing ban! A good sucessful non league manager not a manager with little experience in this league, and especially not a women who has only coached women
