Yes we worked hard and played well, May is still getting better with every game and Gray could of put us in front just before the end with a majestic run and pass only for the keeper to save with his legs. We made Dover look ordinary.

A draw would have been a fair result, a positive if you consider where the two teams are in table at the moment.

Roll on Friday, another hard game Im sure but with the hard work the team is puttng in and a little bit of luck we can get a result.

Not the best week for us results-wise but it's not a disaster.

 

A few weeks ago, the three games I would have looked at as being the trickiest for us would have been Chelmsford, Dover and Boreham Wood away.

Hopefully by tomorrow we would have cleared all three and could even potentially get six points out of them if we have a good day tomorrow.

 

Of the fixtures remaining, I would look at Dorchester and Sutton away as being the most awkward ones left.

Difficult run in for all teams .. would you rather be in our position where we could be playing the last 5/6 games against sides that have nothing to play for or be like Hayes/Billericay/Staines/Eastbourne and Tonbridge who all have to play each other (where the rewards for winning and consequences of losing could be much greater)?

 

Who knows ....
