Abingdon United Vs Sholing Sports highlights

Abingdon United lost 3-1 to Sholing Sports last night. Abingdon started alright for the first 10 minutes but after that they just couldn't get going as passes were misplaced and chances were wasted. The first goal was for Sholing and Charlie Smeeton and it had a bit of comedy in it as you will see in the video below.In the second half Marvin McClean added a second and soon after Lee Wort made it 3-0. They maybe could of got a few more but the introduction of Jack Ross for Abingdon got them going again and Aaron Woodley pulled a goal back from the spot. Abingdon kept going but they just couldn't find the second goal.

At the end of the video you would of seen a prevew for Abingdon United Vs Didcot Town in the evo stik south and west on monday. It's a local derby with the teams just 10 miles apart and is the biggest game of the season for both teams. Jokingly the Abingdon fans have nicknamed it the A34 derby as that is the road between Abingdon and Didcot. Hopefully there will be a big crowd for it too with many Didcot supporters set to make the trip. I have been promoting it on social media and hopefully that will add a few more to the gate.
