Dirtyclaret Posted July 27, 2013 Share Posted July 27, 2013 Crawley green fc beat Pitstone today. 2-1. They made hard work of though. A mix team of 1st, rezys and u18's really struggled with Pitstones formation and a lack of quality. A mistake gifted Pitstone their goal but it was nothing less than they deserved. Crawley grew stronger through out and created more than enough chances to deserve the win in the end but with no recognised forward in the squad some of the finishing wasn't up to scratch. Although that's what football is about, if you don't take your chances you don't win games. It was a good workout for both teams, but i'm sure both teams can only play better football going forward.
