div 2 could do with a few more teams to flesh it out *cough* Amersham!

Can anyone explain the rationale behind Amersham being reprieved for the umpteenth time?  I see the Manager, who cheated, bent the rules and lied has been re-appointed next season and that the Hellenic League had the good sense not to touch them with a barge pole.......

Forget the Football, forget the cheating - as long as you have floodlights you will be fine.

I do not know much about Willen apart from that last season they were in the MK Sunday League.

I will need to find some info

Also be interesting to see Stony Stratford getting one team together let alone a reserves too.

Manager walked and is going North Bucks League, heard quite a few may follow....and his replacement at Stony in the hot seat is......? All very quiet

Just done a bit of research, seems Willen will be playing on council pitches out of a community funded Paviliion with changing rooms.

Similar to Hale Leys etc maybe?

Although, they did win a county cup final against Olney Town who are an established side, are they not?

It was the Olney Town Sunday team, not the UCL Division One side

Willen have been in the Sunday League since forming an adult team in 2005, they played out of Sherington last season.  When our Sunday side played against them the ground at Willen always had 2 junior pitches outside the pavilion either side of the cricket square and the adults played on a pitch just around the corner.  Parking is a nightmare most of the time as well.

looks fantastic. Am I wrong to say Grendon use Winslow Utds pitch? :)

No groundshare with anyone at Winslow. Don't think Grendon were one of the sides that approached the club

So Kentish Town will still be in Division 1 next season then!

What's happened to Harpenden reserves?

How come Baldock Reserves have gone straight into Div 1, did they win the Herts Reserves Div 1?

Baldock Reserves finished 2nd in the Herts County Reserves Div 1.

Have Harpenden Reserves gone to the Suburban? Or disbanded?

Of course, why shouldn't they be, they didn't finish in the bottom two

Amersham Town did finish in the bottom 2 (like they do regularly) - and heaped embarrassment upon the SSML in the process - yet it didnt seem to matter for them! I feel a bit sorry for New Bradwell St Peter. Nice club - relegated for one bad (albeit very bad) season. Yet they didnt cheat or lie or bend the rules and they still got relegated.

Either the football matters more (as I believe it should do) or it should all be based on who has floodlights and facilities and who doesnt.

At the moment there just seems to be confusion and unfairness.
