HumptyWFC2011
Do we think we will have them by Friday?
mal316
Bearing in mind that the CCL have to wait for both the Southern and Isthmian leagues to announce their fixtures first and neither of these leagues have doe or have said when hey will do, I would not expect them this week. Smudge
Surely it will not take a week after the release of The Ryman and Southern Central fixtures, for the CCL Fixtures to be confirmed. On second thoughts is a week enough?Judging by the CCL Website maybe a little longer maybe required. DS10
Mainly its down to ground sharing issues and "Admin"

Smudge
The fixtures are easier this year than last,no Whyteleafe/Hendon/Godalming to worry about.Plus there is equal numbers in each Division,a piece of cake.
SurreysFinest
Maybe you should take the role on smudge as an pretty sure there is more to take into consideration. Take the ground share example, if fixtures are already pretty sorted and say for instance Epsom home to mole valley is arranged for a day that then comes out as a Chipstead home game, Cobham are already at home that day so game can't be switched so you have two teams now without a game hence why league has to wait for higher fixtures before even starting. CCL Results
Won't the Ryman fixtures be delayed due to the Thurrock situation? As they are going to arbitration it has been suggested it could delay the start of the Ryman season until October! Potentially presents a problem regards Epsom & Ewell for lazarus. No - the Ryman league are clear they are going to release them now.
lazarus
Surreys Finest hits the nail on the head as to how things can go wrong if you try to compile fixtures without all the information to hand. There are enough alterations to fixtures as it is, for one reason or another, once the season starts so I think it is better to wait even though it is as frustrating for me as anyone having to wait each year for the two Step 3 leagues to issue. If we didn't have clubs ground sharing with clubs outside our own league, our fixtures would be issued by the end of June. The Ryman League office has advised me that their fixtures will be out on either Wednesday or Thursday of this week whilst the Southern League seem confident that theirs will be available at 9.00 am on Wednesday. If there were to be a delay to the issue of the Ryman fixtures due to the Thurrock situation, I don't think that we could wait any longer and I would then have to take a chance on Epsom's fixtures (should be right 50% of the time!) and just change them again if I had placed them at home as the same time as Chipstead. I'll see how matters are progressing but there is a possibility that I will release the first month's fixtures in advance of the rest. E&E Rich
Certainly we expect to be away on 3rd August as Chipstead have announced a home friendly. On that basis I'm guessing we will be at home on the Tuesday 6th August. Best of luck with the rest of them lazarus!
lazarus
Just a note to confirm that the fixtures are now well under way and that I hope to release them by Monday evening at the latest. Ex EL_Gaffer
