Blog regarding Tuesday's game now up - apologies for the delay.

Probably not the most exciting of reads (in truth, it wasn't that exciting a game) but hope you all enjoy the read either way Thanks again to Mark Sandwell & MISA for organising the trip away :)

Double whammy of blogs for your delectation on a sunny Sunday - the first is a match report of Terry's U10's hard fought victory over Faversham Town Eagles, & the second is a report of yesterday's excellent performance & result against Billericay Town.

Hope you enjoy both reads - thanks again to Mark & MISA for organising the minibus, and thanks to Terry for giving me the opportunity to report on her U10's game - all useful experience! :)

a great read as ever.

concur that margate matched wealdstone throughout.

a quality game of few chances for either side-and thoroughly enjoyed it.

For me-Beckles rightly names m-of m.Got lots of 'encouragement from Stuart in first half in particular (not sure when encouragement turns to nagging )but noticeably less in second half as i think Stuart realised that beckles was having a pretty good game .

Nelson alos played well i thought.Must admit-was a big admirer of eliot cox and in early games, i thought nelson was not quite up to it-but has improved alot imo, and to be fair-certainly matches and probably betters what cox had to offer-so a god signing by TB.

Thought TB was a bit harsh on his summary of second half performance(I'm obviously getting too soft in my old age ).

Agreed not quite up to first half-and it wasn't a bad second half performance.

Thought Margate matched wealdstone in second half as well.

pity about the goal-one mistake/misplaced pass from one of our midfield substitutes ,and Wealdstone take the opportunity.

To be fair to wealdstone-took it well, and seized the chance.

Overall, i thought the one small difference between the sides was that whilst possession was about equal-wealdstone 'found their man' with more passes that what margate did-just marginally better at keeping the ball and finding their own players

Last blog of the season now up - although I couldn't go yesterday, I hope there's still enough to read - especially with various awards being erm... awarded!

You've probably been bored stiff with my blogs & me expressing my thanks - but I'm going to say thanks one more time for everyone who has read & put up with me and my ramblings - forever grateful.

Proud to be a Margate fan, but even prouder to have made the friends I've made at the club - it's an honour to know you all.

Here's hoping for a successful 2014/2015 season :)

Thanks to yourself as well for doing the blogs-and look forward to more of the same next season.

as for your end of season summary-again agree that alot of progress has been made under TB/SC -albeit Simon Osborn was doing a decent job as well i thought, and if you measure progress by league position-i think we were 11th wne Simon Osborn left -and we finished -but yep looking forward-very optimistic-albeit my personal sights are not necessarily on promotion next season-trusting Mr Laslett has a bit more patience that Mr Piper-i think it will take probably two seasons to 'get up'

a but historic ,but like yourself-i was hoping that it would be Guernsey who joined us in the premiership,in terms of good away days/nights-the beaches in leatherhead fall a bit short of those in guernsey.
