Probably the only ones that got away with it, because of the players respect for them, were Cloughie and Sir Alex.

Sir Alex still let his players get away with murder,he just chose when it suited him to reign them in a bit

 

 

In practice, he is retired.

 

On the other hand, I still reckon he's bending Moyes's ear-ole.

They probably wouldn't.Saying that,football was obviously different back then.She would of been friendly with the players and their families who probably attended most games and probably socialised with each other after games,now the families only really turn up if they are going to get on tv , stay at clubs five minutes so those relationships probably don't exist to that extent anymore
