I think that that could be a bad decision.....

Because?

Because I have already heard ppl saying how they need 8 tickets 'cos so and so will want to come' - if every home-attending fan did that then there wouldn't be enough to go round - we would be hard-pressed to meet a demand of four per each one of those supporters, would we not?

Wasn't there a time when Season ticket holders got the option to purchase tickets first before they went on general sale?

I always thought (wrongly I guess!) the main incentive for buying a season ticket is you are then guarenteed a ticket for big games.

From what everybody is saying - if there is a sudden stampede for tickets on Saturday for the Notts County game, the Club may be left with a large number of disgruntled season ticket holders. Grrrrrrrrrr!

I agree with those that are saying that the number of tickets per person should be restricted to no more than four. My guess is that we will get quite a few at the match on Saturday who haven't been all season. As a season ticket holder for the past few seasons I shall have the right hump if I don't get a ticket!

I'm away Friday night and will be lucky to get to the ground for 2pm - I don't fancy missing out on tickets to a load of part-time fans, and I trust if there's a run on tickets by 1.30pm with people snapping up loads, that sense will prevail and someone will say, woah, hang on, let's rethink this.

I mean, I think it's unlikely we'll sell out so early, but I won't be happy if we do.

i agree i think 2/3 tickets per person on saturday would have been better.then after sat it should be unlimited.the saving grace is gillingham are at home so we might not get so many of them there(have given 3000 tickets away).do you have to stay in the ground saturday once you have purchased your ticket?

We're allowed 2 buy as many as we like, this is a bad idea, as the PROPER Fleet fans, who get behind their team week in week out, might not get a ticket whereas the ppl who only turn up for a FA Cup 2nd round game might! <img src="/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

I do agree on this one that it could prove to be 'not such a good idea' to let people have as many tickets as they wish. I just hope for the sake of the club that the loyal supporters and the season ticket holders - many of whom I should imagine support the supporters' Trust also don't get there to be told "sorry sold out". Most supporters buy season tickets in the hope that they have some priority when this kind of situation occurs, rather than it working out cheaper as no-one knows how many matches thay will be able to get to anyway when they purchase them. If they do not manage to get tickets for the match then they will probably think it is not worth purchasing S.T's in future.

I thought the idea was you had to pay to get into the ground as usual for tomorrows game and then purchase your cup tickets. Is this correct???
This way, at least, some true fans will get tickets and not just the one-off passers-by. Also boost the attendance. Hope there is some sensible discretion tho, should someone wish to buy an extraordinary no. of tickets!!

Sod's law - tomorrow will be the 1st home game I'll miss due to being away on business. I'm relying on a mate to get my ticket. Thought the club could have reserved one or two tickets for each ST holder and then put up for sale if not purchased after the Dag/Red game.

GL 4 tomorrow lads, 3pts pleeeeeeeese!
Com on u Redszzzzzz!
