Due to overnight and this mornings rain, are there any games in jeopardy tonight ? any pitch inspections due ?

Ash is very wet.  Not looking too hopeful and the referee will be inspecting on arrival around 1800 hrs -- a cry for players and supporters to come with their forks has gone out!

Given it is a local derby (can you get more local than a club and their groundsharers?) this doesn't particularly impact travel so it's good to see the club wanting to do everything possible to get the game on.

Another night in for you B.G.or down the Rub a dub dub like last Tuesday.

Not sure yet Smudge altho' the Manchester derby in the warm, a few pints and crisps does look enticing.  IF I do go and watch a game, it will probably be the semi-final at Hanworth against Windsor....we will see.

You watching anywhere tonight ?

Westfield 1-1 Farnham Town

Enjoyable match at Woking Park with both goals in the last 7 minutes. Some lovely stuff played by Westfield tonight and you can see why they have done so well this season. Farnham took the lead though through Matt Bunyan with Westfield waiting until injury time to reply through a Liam Parrington penalty (decision looked a bit harsh). Lights went out for a while in the first half too. New stand in with just the 2 seats at present but more to come I think!

Ash 4 v 0 Badshot Lea,strike a light,I never saw that one coming.Think you had to be IN THE KNOW,to see that shock result happening.

You love a conspiracy theory Smudge how about this one. Bedfont take a 90th minute lead then miraculously let in an even later equaliser. Anyone have money on the draw ?  ;)

Hope those 2 dropped points for Bedfont aren't as damaging as your "shock result" insinuation.

Banstead 2-1 Lammas

Froze my do da's off last night, not a great game but I think it was the right result, we had chances to go ahead early on but could not hit the net, we then eventually took the lead, Banstead then hit back with a well taken goal and unfortunately for us we just never got going in the second half and Banstead scored a second and were creating the chances.

Nice people at Banstead and was made very welcome by everyone.

So Div one football next season for us barring a miracle of results, congratulations by the way to Knaphill, fantastic results recently, I think there games against Spelthorne will be very well attended as they are genuine title contenders now and the title is still up for grabs.

Up The Lammas.
