Plus anyone who chooses to go anywhere near Margate needs their sanity questioned. It's an absolute pit!

What a shame you wont be coming to Margate .However, if you change your mind you will be made welcome.

Yes its been a pit for a while now since everything was bulldozed many years ago.

The money is there though now, the playing squad for this coming season is nothing short of immense and the stadium is next!

As Beaconsfield have been drawn away for the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round, at least we will not have to play on a Sunday.

Because we are the higher club we would of had the option on playing sat or sun,

Not sure we would of enforced that option though.

Should that read 'the money is there for now'?

Is the 'money man' at Margate a true supporter or just fancies a go at running a club for an ego trip?

Nothing against anybody putting money into a football club as long as the club are left debt free with no expensive contracts to honour when the money man decides he's had enough.

I know what you mean, many clubs have gone bust when the "money man" gets bored and leaves.

It looks like our chairman is genuine and he is in it for the long term.

After many years of what ifs and maybes at margate and much financial trouble all we can do is be grateful, hope for the best and enjoy the ride !

I think all Chairmen who want to come into a club and spend big should be made to give some form of guarantee, maybe in the form of a Bond/guarantee', to try to ensure that they don't leave the club 'high and dry'.

OK, that might put some people off from taking over a club but it would also help to sort the genuine people who are in it for the long term from the five minute wonders.

The stadium is ok and I especially like the clubhouse end. It was more the town I was referring to!

To be fair most towns have their 'pits' areas.

I always found Margate a nice place to visit, lets not get personal about other areas guys and gals :)

Slough only has 1 small pits' area is from

Taplow to the M25 and Wexham Park Hospital and the M4,
