Keith B Posted October 14, 2014 Share Posted October 14, 2014 I couldn't possibly comment. What I can comment on is Cove's fortunate win at Bedfont Sports tonight. Score 1-1 at full-time and also after extra time, with Bedfont Sports the better team overall. Cove won on pens 4-1, leaving the couple of dozen spectators largely frustrated after a fairly disjointed game. Had to smile when the hapless ref ducked out of the way of a cross field ball, only for it to take a slight deflection off his back to the Cove winger who crossed for their first-half goal. An 'assist' for the ref! Cove played far worse than when they won at our place on the first day of the season, though I don't know if tonight's team had many who played against us.
