FF News Posted December 4, 2014 Share Posted December 4, 2014 Conference club Chester have confirmed that Laurence Kirby has decided to step down from the board. He relinquishes his position as both Finance Director of the Operations Board and Financial Controller of the Society. The Board of Directors wishes to place on record its appreciation of the work that he and his finance team have carried out over the past two-and-a-half years. He has worked diligently to drive prudent financial management into the business, and has been instrumental in turning around the Society's finances, delivering a club that is in its healthiest financial and playing position since reformation. He will step down, having provided the club with a financial platform from which it is able to drive forward toward sustainability.
