FF News
Ryman League Premier Division club Hampton & Richmond Borough have confirmed the arrival of two new defenders. Manager Alan Dowson has secured the services of Matt Drage from league rivals Kingstonian. He is a powerful centre-half who Dowson managed whilst in charge at Kingsmeadow. The club can also announce the arrival of another defender in the shape of Jake Gilbert. The 23-year-old former Hemel Hempstead Town centre-half signs from another set of league rivals, Harrow Borough. Both players are expected to make the trip to Witham Town this weekend as The Beavers look to get back to winning ways. Dowson said: "We needed defensive bodies that's no secret but I am delighted to sign Jake and Matt - they are both players I have wanted to bring to Hampton for some time. "We have been a bit unlucky with players at that end of the pitch and hopefully we will now see things start to settle down and by Christmas things will take shape. "I"m delighted by the deals. The fans are having to be patient at the moment but we are slowly but surely getting there." Source: Hampton & Richmond Borough FC Source
