I think that JAFTD picked wisely on the trains. You are correct, some trains you do have to change at Shenfield for, the 10:53 however goes straight through to Marks Tey.

Whatever the situation, looking forward to a good day and hopefully a cracking game.

Joan and I have booked into the Black Boy in Bury St Edmunds on the 23rd, she can have a look round the town whilst we're in the Nutshell.

Last time we did this it was at Dorchester and the game was called off

If you want to watch and support Hornchurch then you should be willing to walk though and to anywhere.

Even if you have to go past White Hart Lane!!

Any way, when is the chance going to come again when you can say i walked down white hart lane to watch hornchurch play. haha

If you don't want a walk (you'll need to be tooled up), just get the W3 bus from either White Hart Lane station or Wood Green tube - or indeed Finsbury Park station if you are secretly a Gooner. They're every 5-10 mins as I recall.

It's a great route which connects the two Norf London big boys (Arsenal and Haringey Borough) and then onto some other run-down ground.

Just to let you know that according to the TfL website the Shenfield-Liverpool Street line is running so you can get to Liverpool Street straight from Romford. Only closed on Sunday apparently.

Yeah just saw that. Strange as it was different on Monday haha

All,

The train price has gone up dramatically so we are looking to go to Northampton instead and get a train across.

Will post the details later.
