Hungerford done em 3 - 1.

Coz because we play in a proper league we had to play our league game tonight. As you can expect we treated this as a conditioning game to prepare for Saturday where as your guys get to eat smokey bacon crisps tomorrow night in prep for Saturday :-) :-)

Ha Ha,

CheshFan, you are funny, not.

Teams in Ryman Prem were given the option by the League.

I think you will see that all in the Cup on Saturday opted to train rather than play.

Simples.

You loss tonight means nothing in terms of Saturday, other than team confidence going down 1 - 3 away.

Saturday,........ different day, different opposition,

In all fairness to Cheshfan, Chesham do have quite an active forum: http://www.cheshamunited.co.uk/forums/viewforum.php?f=3&sid=819aac09e57c3421bc2546426f244f5b . They even have a topic headed "FA Cup 1st Round ticket priority". They are nothing if not confident!

The Chesham fans were commenting on the difference between the Ryman and Southern League approaches to the FA Cup as the Southern League clubs weren't able to cancel their mid-week league fixtures. I'd say they have a point. 3 games in 8 days is at least 1/3 tougher than just 2 games over the same period! ;)

Latest News:

Chesham United will have to do without the professional goalkeeping services of George Legg against Town tomorrow afternoon.

Legg, who is on-loan to The Generals from Sky Bet Championship League side Reading, twisted his ankle badly whilst training with the Royalists yesterday (22 October). He will be replaced by Shane Gore who has been recalled from Hungerford.
