No tweets from Ashford tonight? Strange that !!!!

There were no tweets from the club during the match on Saturday, either. Having moved to Liverpool for family reasons, I find myself to be increasingly reliant on social media to keep me in the loop, particularly on match days. Neither club was tweeting updates from the match; all I could find were updates from a radio show that appeared to be Surrey-based.

While not condoning the article published on the Ashford Town (Middlesex) FC website after the Horley game, I can say that it had nothing to do with the person who now administers the club's Twitter feed. There is an automated system in place which automatically identifies when a new item goes up on the home page, then sends out a tweet containing the headline and a link to the article.

It might have been better for the author of the item concerned to have "slept on it" and published something on Sunday morning rather than going live on Saturday evening as they did but what the piece does show is the passion of the author for their club. I also think that most clubs would be unhappy if they were on the wrong end of the events described at the end of that particular fixture.

Camberley overcame a tough Redhill side to gain 3 vital points.  An early headed goal was the start Camberley wanted but they failed to push on and in the closing stages Redhill were getting a foothold in the game esp through their impressive 9.

2nd Half saw Camberley on the front foot again.  A 2nd goal was scored and the away keeper made 3 good saves but you never felt Redhill were out of the game and with 3 minutes to go an excellent solo effort reduced the arrears.  Camberley saw the last few minutes out comfortably though.

Have to say although they really now look doomed to the bottom 3 Redhill were most certainly not a bottom 3 side.  A couple of really impressive performers on the night in their skipper and 9.

Good to bump into a couple of old friends from another club :)

Bit of pressure regarding promotion and everyone thinks they are mind game tastic

Great tho as you all take the bait

I remember when I was working with Bedfont Green when we won the league and I put

"Catch us if u can " after every posting I

felt like i was a bit of bloodied steak in a shark infested water the amount of bites I had

Fantastic keep it up and very enjoyable

Enjoyable game at Ashford last night with Ashford being just a little too good for a hard working youthful Enfield side

Nice to see Ashford fans congregate round the pitch exit to clap their own team off and stay to clap off the Enfield players as well

Ashford are a proper club as they do steak pies and pasties as well as burgers ;)

Although Dorking went down 4-2, a good game from both teams according to reports.
