Slight crossing of wires in the posts me thinks.

Some refer to the "proposed" 3G in the playing fields, other refer to the QEII pitch being changed to 3G.

I would be against any proposal to have a 3G pitch in the stadium itself.

I wasn't aware that ETFC were being asked to fund any 3G pitch.From looking at the original plans,i presumed the council (or outside funding) would pay to build it and we would have main 'dibs' in using it ,with the facility also being used by the community as a whole.

 

Can also not see how athletics or even home games on the QE would interfere with the use of the 3G pitch ,if it is situated where originally planned..Ie.well away from the QE in the corner of the playing field next to the A10 .

They'll build Heathrows third runway and Railways HS2 before a 3G pitch near the stadium it's less complicated

Application take 8 weeks for minor or 13 weeks for major.

Due to consultations and "local" views one would expect this to be major.

 

Therefore delegated approval or Committee if called in by a Member by 5th August

We are now over week 17
