With the 'Gits crude style of play, it's a wonder they ever have any players clear of suspension. They must have a squad of about 50 players. Good riddance to bad rubbish I say. This load of crap besmirch Kent football. Much as I used to hate Dartford and Maidstone, I always had a bit of respect for them.as they did actually try to play football.

The quicker this shower go bankrupt, Parminer sacks Kinnear and most of the team, and they are rebuilt in the Kent league, the better.

Well played you reds, you kept your discilpine well today in the face of some brutal tactics.

Well done Wilko for listening to my advice and passing the ball to the defence. It really works !!

Well done to Ben Abbey, worked tirelessly and would have got my MOM vote but for Chris Moore's second goalline clearance of the afternoon + his well taken goal.

Andy Ford's post match interview summed the game up very well. Margate were better this time. They had their chances. The free kick from Annon that hit the post was very good. For an away side they had plenty of the play. Overall a more even game this time. However the right team won on the day. Edged it by playing fair. And just how many times were Margate off-side.

I wish Margate well for the rest of the season..that's as long as they are below us in the table. I should like to keep the Kent Derby on the calender. Next year one at Christmas and one at Easter.

Chatham Gary, I can only assume you have no conscience as to wish a club to go bust is disappointing no matter how much you dislike a team. S**t hits the fan every time when a club is in trouble and its the fan that suffers. We dont pick the tactics and cant control our players. We are a proud club with 107 years of history and I'm disappointed by your wishing for us to go under.

We've been there, done it and got the T shirt. The only way out of your mess (caused by over ambition and a crap manager employing dirty players) is a complete rebuild from within.

Maidstone did it, so can you. I'm sorry if I caused offence as I don't have a problem with your supporters. Just with thugs who charge a keeper into the net when he in mid air and holding the ball. Then two players kicking him while he is hurt in the goalmouth.

Dear oh dear. There is a lot of rubbish being spouted about in this thread. I was there as a neutral today and would say that Gravesend (just about) deserved to win. Margate were a physical team but not overly so. The challenge by Oates on Wilkinson was in my opinion a 50-50 challenge where Wilkinson just beat the man to the ball. Whilst I agree it did look painful, he (Wilkinson) did seem to make a meal of it.

I am no fan of Margate believe me or that To'er Kinnear, but wishing a club to go bankrupt is out of order. How is the ground situation at the Fleet these days? Does Blue Circle still have an interest.

Apart from all that I thought todays game was excellent, just what was required to get rid of those Xmas blues.

Regards.

Margate played a phyical game again today like they did Saturday where they were in my opinion more intent in upsetting the fleet then playing football.

As for the fans they bought with them. The club is in turmoil and that is all they can muster to try and get their team going.

I would not like to see them go under like some would , as in the future , it could be us or Welling or any number of local clubs.

As for the game. The Wilko incident was in my opinion 50/50 but I saw a kick in the goalmouth incident and there were quite a few gate players trying to wind players up when the ball was at the other end (kleijsters and Moore for example)

Just hoping the fleet can get a result at Chester and then maybe rest a few on Tuesday when Dover visit.

God, these Margate responses are absolutely laughable. As Dave said, Wilkerson clearly winced every time he kicked the ball and whether or not Oates' challenge was 50/50, to suggest Wilko was acting is just plain old sour grapes.

I'm not hell-bent on seeing Margate go out of business, but the 'let him die' chants and the constant whinging by this lot make it very hard to shed anything other than crocodile tears if they do disappear.
