Another good convincing win for Harefield Utd yesterday, Along with tenants Broadfield Utd playing some good stuff Preston park is a good place to be at the moment [ both undefeated].

As an aside one of the Brimsdown substitutes was not allowed to come on yesterday as a ring he was wearing [ taped up] would not come off, what is the ruling on this, as surely if it is against the rules both the player and club should know it would not be allowed.

Old Bradwell dark horses for Division 2 this season Munchkin? Started very well.

Fully expect Clinton and Totternhoe to full apart as you saw yesterday, now King and Robson have both left over the past few weeks. Which leaves Bovingdon.

Besides from the defeat against Bovingdon, in which we played well for 60 or so minutes, can’t have too many complaints. Very long way to go, but we are happy with additions to the squad and believe this is our best chance. Only problem is we are quite a few games behind already.

Simon King has been a big miss for us as shown on Saturday with the impact he had. Losing the goals of Aaron King and Sean Coles it was always going to take time to find our rhythm again, starting to get back to where we were performance wise. Aaron King and Coles may yet return, I wouldn’t be surprised and they will be welcomed back with open arms. Team and squad looking much more like it now, just hope we can get the same side out most weeks, that’s key.

Fair play to the referee for enforcing this most basic of laws.  Yes both player and club should be aware that no jewelry is allowed, whether taped or untaped ... unfortunately many players (and regrettably some referees!) knowledge of the Laws is pretty suspect at times!
