Also last term, on 26 January 2019, and photographs from Winslow United v Ampthill Town in a SSML Division One fixture at Elmfields Gate which Winslow United won 3-1 just a week after the two sides had met at Ampthill Park so, again, I'm not sure what Karen was playing at:

Exciting YouTube action from the above Ampthill Town v Hanwell Town FA Vase Fifth Round tie, at Ampthill Park on 15 February 2014, Hanwell Town did later gain sweet revenge for the 3-1 defeat by beating Ampthill Town to the SSML Premier Division Championship that season:

I was at that game and the better team on the day won.

That Ampthill Town FC team was such a big and strong team I rated them very highly and I still follow the fortunes of some of those Ampthill Town players that played in that FA Vase game to this day.

Hanwell Town and Ampthill Town were by far the best two teams in the Spartan Premier Division that season 2013/14.

Photographs from, wait for it, Saturday 3 May 2008, and the SSML Division One Cup Final between Ampthill Town and Haringey Borough at Cotlandswick which Haringey Borough won 2-1, attendance 170. Haringey Borough were promoted back to the top flight that 2007/08 season after just one campaign in Division One however there were many sleepless nights at Coles Park with Kentish Town deservedly winning the Championship and Hoddesdon Town a very close third who had beaten Haringey Borough 4-0 at Lowfield and were robbed blind at Coles Park in a 2-2 draw:

Photographs from Winslow United v Ampthill Town in a 2019/20 SSML Division One fixture, at Elmfields Gate on 5 October 2019, which Winslow United won 3-2 having led 3-0 at the interval, Ampthill Town were unlucky not to get a point in the end:

Winslow Boy - Yes, I believe this YouTube footage of the game is on another thread, Ampthill Town had a really indifferent season didn't they and the embarrassing 3-0 defeat at Cranfield United in the Bedfordshire FA Senior Trophy First Round on 28 September really seemed to effect them, Paul Blackman stepped down shortly afterwards and Ant Christoffi never really got to grips after being handed the reins by Chairman Gary Maidment:

To be fair Cranfield had a decent side, Drew Mitten among others who have stood out in south mids before. They’d have been top ten in div one I think.

Ampthill Town Development remain in Division One of the Bedfordshire County League this coming season, prior to that the Development side played in the much derided SSML Under 25 Development Division in 2018/19 where they finished with the wooden spoon:

Ampthill Town's Development side are in a new look Division One of the Bedfordshire County League for the coming season along with a number of new and returning teams, the format looks a little bit confusing though, make of it what you will:
