Over 250 photographs from the 2013/2014 campaign and Ampthill Town v Hanwell Town in an FA Vase Fifth Round tie, at Ampthill Park on 15 February 2014, that saw Ampthill Town win 3-1 after extra time and progress to the Quarter Final of the competition where they were beaten 2-1 at Eastbourne United Association

Here we go folks, photographs from that 2013/14 FA Vase Quarter Final tie at Eastbourne United Association on Saturday 8 March 2014, Craig Bicknell's men were very unlucky to go down 2-1 but had a great run in the competition, albeit entering at the Second Round stage, beating Barking, Beckenham Town, Norwich United and Hanwell Town, all at Ampthill Park:

Photographs, and a match report, from Ampthill Town v Broadfields United in a 2017/18 SSML Division One fixture, at Ampthill Park on Saturday 25 November 2017, resulting in a 1-1 stalemate, Jamie Cerminara scored the goal however the hosts had goalkeeper Ross Tompkins to thank for the point who saved a late penalty:

The match programme line ups from Berkhamsted v Ampthill Town in a 2010/11 SSML Division One fixture, at Broadwater on Saturday 30 April 2011, Berkhamsted had already won the Championship long before and put the visitors to the sword 7-1 in what had been a very poor season for Ampthill Town despite having the sublime Stuart Reynolds at he Club who obviously scored the consolation goal at Broadwater:

As we know the 2020/21 SSML season has been unceremoniously 'curtailed' as was officially announced by the FA last week that 'Steps 3-6 will be curtailed' although, in the case of the Bedfordshire County League, it has been declared null and void with no promotion or relegation taking place. The League are preparing to run end of season supplementary cup competitions across all its five divisions, these will commence on Saturday 10 April and run until Mid-May. That includes Division One 'B' where Ampthill Town Development's campaign came to an abrupt conclusion after just six League fixtures when sitting in fourth place in the table, albeit ten points behind leaders Henlow. Their last outing was on Saturday 12 December when beating Cranfield United Reserves 6-0 at Ampthill Park with goals from Connor Saunders, Rhys Pearson, Joshua Arthur-Kent, Jack Fuller and a brace from Charan Basra, a week prior to that Stuart Robertson's men won 4-1 at local rivals Flitwick Town Reserves. Ampthill Town's First team were last in action on Saturday 19 December, disappointingly losing 1-0 at Eastern Counties League Division One North outfit Mulbarton Wanderers in an FA Vase Third Round tie having previously disposed of Stanway Rovers, Walthamstow, Long Buckby and Dunstable Town in the competition, boss Lee Hawkes will have been disappointed that his men weren't able to progress further. League form had been good prior to the curtailment, particularly away from Ampthill Park where they were unbeaten, Lee was proving to be an inspirational appointment by Club Chairman Gary Maidment despite his young age and inexperience in Management.

Not SSML, or football related for that matter, but nice photographs depicting quaint Ampthill itself, predominantly for groundhoppers or away fans with an hour or two to kill before making their way to Ampthill Park for a fixture:

Ampthill Town Development won a seven goal thriller at Forde Park on Saturday (26 September) in the Second Round of the Bedfordshire FA Intermediate Cup, goals from Charan Basra, Tommy Jackson, Jack Fuller and James Tiller secured the 4-3 win over Langford Reserves who proved a tough nut to crack

It is understood that the Bedfordshire FA Intermediate Challenge Cup competition, for Bedfordshire County League Club's at Division One level, will proceed next month (see link). Following the thrilling Second Round win at Langford, having received a First Round bye, Division One 'B' Ampthill Town Development were drawn against Division One 'A' St Josephs and the Third Round tie at the Lea Manor Recreation Centre in Luton is scheduled for Saturday 10 April, kick off 2.30pm, albeit presumably behind closed doors. St Joesphs have done well to reach this stage having won 3-2 at Flitwick Town Reserves in September and then beating invitees, from the United Counties League Reserve Division, Kempston Rovers Development 3-1 at home in the Second Round so Ampthill Town Development face a difficult afternoon in Luton:

A team sheet from Cranfield United v Ampthill Town in a 2007/08 SSML Division One fixture, at Crawley Road on Saturday 13 October 2007, Ampthill Town won 5-1 with goals from Christian Lester, Paul Munday, Keith Snaylam and a brace from Michael Owens, I can't believe Stuart Reynolds didn't score. It was a particularly strong Division One that season with some iconic players such as Stuart, Lee Scott and Jonathan Donoghue at Kentish Town, Lea Coulter at New Bradwell St Peter, Adam Furness at Arlesey Town and, who else, Craig Hammond at Royston Town:

Ampthill Town Development lock horns with, Cranfield United Reserves, Totternhoe Reserves and The 61 FC (Luton) Reserves in Division One Group 2D of the Bedfordshire County League supplementary cup competition, dates for the three group fixtures have yet to be confirmed. Ampthill Town Develpment will be confident of topping the group and will be favourites to do so, they have already taken care of Cranfield United Reserves at Ampthill Park when winning 6-0 on Saturday 12 December with goals from Connor Saunders, Rhys Pearson, Joshua Arthur-Kent, Jack Fuller and a brace from Charan Basra in what was a very impressive performance. They are also still engaged in the Quarter Finals of the Bedfordshire FA Intermediate Challenge Cup and travel to Division One 'A' side St Josephs on Saturday 10 April so presumably the first Group 2D fixture will be the following Saturday:

Ampthill Park is looking in excellent condition, I assume the Club have some friendlies up their sleeve seeing as they did not enter the SSML Spring Cup:

So who fell hook line and sinker for the April Fools joke last Thursday, I have to confess that I did and was about to post it on here when I realised it was fake news:

BREAKING: Ampthill manager Lee Hawkes has left the club due to various problems behind the scenes. After a great season last year I’d like to wish Lee all the best for future!

A team sheet from Ampthill Town v Vauxhall Motors in a 1973/74 Bedfordshire FA Senior Cup First Round Replay, at Ampthill Park on Saturday 27 October 1973, following a 2-2 draw at Park Street in Luton. I believe Vauxhall Motors won the game 1-0, sadly a number of players from both sides are no longer with us:

Episode 12 of the excellent Ampthill Town Podcast entitled 'The Ampthill Army', I'm not sure why it's all about Leighton Town this week and not Ampthill Town however it's a good listen and I'm just wondering whether either Kieran Carvell and Ben Davage are AlwaysLeighton on here:

A shocker of a result this afternoon for Ampthill Town Development going down 3-0 to St Josephs at their Lea Manor Recreation Ground in Luton in the Bedfordshire FA Intermediate Challenge Cup Quarter Final, details of the defeat are currently hard to come by as there is unsurprisingly not a word on Ampthill Town's Twitter page.
