Winslow Boy - What do you think has gone so horribly wrong at Elmfields Gate this season with the three heavy league defeats to Stotfold, New Salamis and Shefford Town & Campton as well as the disappointing FA Cup exit to Roman Glass St George, as you say lets hope for better things tomorrow against lowly Wodson Park

We really need a win, when you’re not going well every game looks a tough one.

Still in 8th Winslow Boy. Lots of wins to be had yet.

Savagebee - I believe last season Winslow United lost their first two league games at Harefield United and Buckingham Athletic but then embarked on a great run of ten league wins and a draw before losing 4-1 at Broadfield United just before Christmas so, as you say, it is still early days.

What do you think of the first penalty?

Foul inside or outside the penalty area?

I thought it was outside the penalty area. What do you think of VAR technology, it has totally ruined the beautiful game hasn't it, decisions always used to even themselves out in the long run and over a season, you won some and you lost some.

I agree with you that the foul was outside the penalty area.

VAR is a good thing but we are playing catch up with other European nations in getting used to it. I reckon in a few months it will run more smoothly.

How can you say that as, like I said, it has totally ruined the beautiful game, you only need to watch Match of the Day on a Saturday night to realise and the disallowed goal for 'offside' in the Leicester v Tottenham game last Saturday said it all

I refer you to my previous post.

We are playing catch up with the rest of Europe on how to use the system properly.

An excellent use of the system for reference would be the recent FIFA Women's World Cup.

That's all very well but how long is it going to take to 'catch up', also us Brits are different to the rest of Europe, we are not like the Germans, Dutch, Spanish, French or Italians and far more traditional and set in our ways, particularly when our beautiful game is being interfered with and ruined

The slowness is down to the authorities.
