PONY TAILED URCHIN Posted October 3, 2019 Share Posted October 3, 2019 FA Youth cup action tonight for Hornchurch v Dagenham and Redbridge Was a great game of football tonight seeing our younger players in action turning in a result Hornchurch 11 Dagenham 0 Some fantastic passing to create a 7 - 0 lead at half time with several players standing tonight and it shows a bright young future for the Urchins Our own Sonny Dutton scored a hat trick with great support and more goals from other players in the side. I was impressed with Sonny leeks and Seb Towse in midfield and Jack Gennister came on later. They all showed pace, passing,and potential to do well. Let's hope they have a good cup run. Dagenham do not and therefore were represented by Barking and Dagenham College U18’s side last night. Just to pick up on your comment Simon, it is our own Hornchurch U18s, under the stewardship of Peter Dutton, who represent us in the FA Youth Cup. It is not the Academy side - this is something different and is a partnership with an external company, Academy 1 Sports College.
