Arlesey Town

I see that high profile UEFA 'A' Licensed Coach Krasimir Korsachki has joined Arlesey Town to work closely with Chico Ramos as well as with Arlesey Town Youth who are separately run. Krasimir has previously been involved with youth football at various ages and the Pro Touch Soccer Academy (PTSA) working in partnership with many professional Club's as well as the Premier League Kicks programme, he took a team to Denmark to compete in the Dana Cup which some SSML Club's have done previously, and won in the case of Royston Town under Paul Attfield. Krasimir has also been with Tunbridge Wells Foresters FC working closely with the Kent Football Academy, Charlton Athletic Community Trust and Ladies team, the West Ham Academy, Walthamstow and Ryan FC, he is very well contacted.

Again not the SSML but over 100 photographs and match report from Slough Town v Arlesey Town, on 14 February 2015 in a Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division fixture, Arlesey Town were sadly relegated that 2014/15 campaign and lost this match 1-0 to a 26th minute strike however were very unlucky not to come away from Holloways Park with at least a draw that Valentine's Day afternoon:

Here's more about Krasimir Korsachki's arrival at Hitchin Road:

Savagebee - Yes, that is a good three weeks after I reported Krasimir Korachki's arrival at Hitchin Road, I don't know how Chico Ramos managed to bring him to the Club as he is the real deal and has predominately worked in London previously and Kent. Ky Brooks-Lynch is also an interesting appointment, I'm surprised he stayed for as long as he did at Langford under Martin Wells as Forde Park isn't exactly the London Stadium, Craven Cottage or Stadium MK however the experience he gained at a SSML Club will no doubt stand him in good stead:

Krasimir Korsachki has joined Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division club Arlesey Town as assistant to Chico Ramos.

The 43-year-old Bulgarian holds an UEFA A licence, youth module (levels 1,2 & 3) and talent identification level 1 & 2 while he is also in his second year at the University of Greenwich studying performance analysis and sports science.

He is currently employed at Arsenal in the pre-academy and has previously worked with the academies at West Ham United and Charlton Athletic.

Krasimir was with Essex Senior League side Walthamstow FC last season and has also previously been at Ryan FC.

Meanwhile, Ky Brooks-Lynch (pictured) joins the club as coach.

The 28-year-old, currently employed at MK Dons academy, has a UEFA B coaching licence and a Masters degree in sports performance and analysis helped by coaching at Fulham and West Ham during that time.

He comes from Langford where he spent the last two seasons as assistant manager.

Photographs and match report from a 2015/16 Evo-Stik Southern League Division One Central fixture between Aylesbury FC and Arlesey Town, at Haywood Way on Tuesday 16 February 2016, Aylesbury FC won 3-0 with Arlesey Town struggling to come to terms with life back in Division One Central, having been relegated from the Premier Division the season before, and finished 16th in the table. Following a 15th place finish the following 2016/17 season they were relegated to the SSML in 2017/18 finishing bottom of the Southern League Division One Central with just fourteen points:

I see that Arlesey Town have entered an Under 23's side in the Bedfordshire County League for the coming season, I gather their supremo will be Valentino Qoku who will work closely with Krasimir Korsachki who's speciality is youth football despite being brought in as assistant Manager to Chico Ramos. I don't know too much about Valentino Qoku other than he holds a UEFA B Licence and has been with Angelana in Italy, Crawley Green, Biggleswade United, Wootton Blue Cross, Luton based Youth Club Thunder FC and Dunstable Town where he was at Creasey Park up until recently and, like Krasimir Korsachki and Ky Brooks-Lynch, really knows his onions, Arlesey Town have assembled an amazing Coaching team and could be dark horses for some silverware this coming season:

A little after the Lord Mayors Show but some photographs from a 2006/07 Isthmian League Division One North fixture between Arlesey Town and Enfield Town, at Hitchin Road on Saturday 9 April 2007, the season before they re-located back to the Southern League, impressively winning the Central Division in 2010/11 to gain promotion to the Premier Division. Enfield Town won 4-1 reaching the play offs that 2006/07 season but disappointingly lost in a Semi Final at their then Goldsdown Road home to AFC Sudbury who had qualified by default when Maldon Town were ineligible for promotion:

Arlesey Town's new Under 23 side have now been placed in Division One of the Bedfordshire County League for the coming season, it appears they were one of the numerous Club's claiming to have a strong playing strength, which no doubt they have under Manager Valentino Qoku, however the format is all a little bit confusing, make of it what you will:

Photographs from Arlesey Town v Enfield Town, on 11 September 2010 at Hitchin Road, in an FA Cup First Qualifying Round tie in 2010/11 when Arlesey Town were a Southern League Division One Midlands Club, Enfield Town won 2-0 after Arlesey Town had beaten Aylesbury FC in the Preliminary Round after a replay. Despite having nine league points deducted that season for fielding an ineligible player Arlesey Town won the Southern League Division One Midlands Championship by one point from neighbours Hitchin Town who at least were also promoted through the play offs, Arlesey Town finished fifteenth in the Premier Division the following season, also reaching the FA Cup First Round proper, and remained in the top flight for four seasons until 2014/15 when relegated back to the lower tier of the Southern League:

Photographs from Arlesey Town v Enfield Town again, this time on Saturday 12 April 2008 at Hitchin Road, in a 2007/08 Isthmian League Division One North fixture prior to the Club making a sideways move back to the Southern League the following 2008/09 season where they remained until being relegated to the SSML in 2017/18, Enfield Town won this game 1-0:

The reverse 2007/08 Isthmian League Division One North fixture, at Goldsdown Road on Tuesday 30 October 2007, between Enfield Town and Arlesey Town resulting in a 2-2 stalemate, Gary Barr and Brett Donnelly netted for Arlesey Town in front of a 209 attendance:

Arlesey Town Under 23's are in Division One 'A' of the Bedfordshire County League and will lock horns with Langford Reserves, Stotfold Development and Totternhoe Reserves, it appears that Valentino Qoku's men have the slightly easier division of the two and have avoided Cranfield United Reserves:

A different album of photographs from that posted earlier, and match report, of Arlesey Town v Wingate & Finchley, on Saturday 1 November 2014 at Hitchin Road, in a 2014/15 FA Trophy First Qualifying Round tie when Arlesey Town were still riding high as an Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Club. They won the game 2-1 against 'their equals' from the Isthmian League Premier Division with goals from Dean Mason and James Sage, progressing to meet East Thurrock in the Second Qualifying Round:

I see that, worryingly, there has been a steep increase in Covid-19 cases in the Arlesey, Stotfold and Shefford areas this week, I wonder if this will lead to some of Saturday's pre-season friendly fixtures being called off, Arlesey Town's First Team are due to travel to Buckingham Athletic for a 3.00pm start and Arlesey Town's new Under 23's Team are due to entertain Crawley Green Reserves at 1.00pm. If the Under 23's game is cancelled it will be a disappointment for supremo Valentino Qoku who has liked what he has seen so far from his young side with an impressive 2-0 win at Real Haynes and a hard fought 3-3 draw at AFC Oakley M&DH FC, unlike Chico Ramos who has seen three defeats so far to Kempston Rovers, Hendon and Ware:

The leader of Central Bedfordshire Council, Cllr James Jamieson is urging all residents in Stotfold, Arlesey and Shefford to follow the national Coronavirus guidance, as daily data is showing an increase in cases in this area, particularly among young people.

Interesting YouTube highlights and match report from Hayes & Yeading United v Arlesey Town on Saturday 11 November 2017 in a Southern League Division One East fixture, Hayes & Yeading United won 2-1 with Tony Williams netting Arlesey Town's goal. The reverse fixture at Hitchin Road in January sadly resulted in a 9-1 defeat for Arlesey Town and it was hardly surprising they were relegated to the SSML at the end of that miserable 2017/18 campaign gleaning just fourteen points:

Don't all rush at once but there are just thirty tickets remaining for Arlesey Town supporters and the Club's difficult looking FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie at Eastern Counties League Premier Division Wroxham FC next Tuesday evening:

Arlesey Town's fixtures for the forthcoming campaign, I suppose the question is how long will Chico Ramos remain if results continue in the way they are following pre-season and the 5-0 defeat at Wroxham in the FA Cup:

Arlesey Town's new Under 23's side travel to Division One 'B' outfit Stopsley United in the First Round of the Bedfordshire FA Intermediate Challenge Cup on Saturday 26 September, should they win they will then entertain the winners of the Wilstead Reserves and Stotfold Development tie. Pre-season friendly results haven't been going so well of late for Valentino Qoku's men who lost 4-1 yesterday to Tring Corinthians AFC however they have been up against decent opposition which will stand them in good stead for the Bedfordshire County League Division One 'A' campaign ahead:
