Premier Division

Arlesey Town 2 Crawley Green 2

Crawley Green are tough to beat at the moment only two defeats in there last 13 games but they have drawn a few of those games but they are still picking up points and going under the radar as they say.

Savagebee - I see Stingray from another Forum was at the affair:

South Midlands Premier
ARLESEY TOWN 2-2 CRAWLEY GREEN
Admission £7.00 Prog online so can't be arsed, but free team sheet which I suppose is better than a slap in the chops
Coffee £1.00 (only one as they shut the serving hatch when the second half started)
Attendance 81 (official, approx. head count 57)

This was the only feasible option today. I suppose one advantage of online programmes is that you can roll up nearer to 3-00 than before, but I wasn't aware that some spaces had been sectioned off in lieu of the firework display that was planned for later this evening. Fortunately, there were still plenty (of spaces) left and I do have plenty of Arlesey programmes from previous visits, so I'll be able to improvise to some extent.

The game itself wasn't the best, but both sides endeavoured to entertain in the tricky conditions. First blood to Arlesey with a thunderous direct free kick before Crawley Green levelled to go in all square at the break. Crawley Green turned it round in the second half with Arlesey offering little until the NINE minutes of added time (thanks largely to a raft of substitutions and players tripping over each others' bootlaces) which was enough for Arlesey to claim a share of the spoils at the death.

Perhaps some of the money they doubtless save by not printing programmes could be spent on repairing the clock above the stand.

Hillingdon Boroughs main man is back scoring. They need to hang on to Ash Hunt for as long as they can.
