Heard Winslow have been thrown out for fielding an illegible player.

Ah, right, that’s annoying. Silly oversight but it happens. A shame.

Yeah not great, especially as player appearances so easily accessible on full time now.

We signed 2 players recently and had to check. Both cup tied but in different cups, luckily manager is pretty on the ball with these things.

Saying all that you definitely won’t be the last, shame as it was a great result.

I’d have swapped it for a league win or a win today. Hoping this year is the year we finally put poor county cup showings to bed.

So Winslow United, Baldock Town and Stotfold have all been unceremoniously expelled from the competition then and New Salamis, Hillingdon Borough and Potton United reinstated, have there been any appeals

Any appeals have to be made to the Football Association

No appeal from us, the player was ineligible, our mistake.

Winslow Boy - So your Secretary held his hands up then, to be fair it's easily done and can happen to anyone, even John Bacon was guilty of it once in over 60 years with Haringey Borough

Hillingdon Borough v Harefield United would be an interesting tie in the next round if it were to happen.

A remarkable result last night in North London with Park View beating Newport Pagnell Town 3-1, Park View are 37 places below Newport Pagnell Town in the SSML and hopefully the win will act as a boost to their league form starting on Saturday when they host London Tigers:

SSML Challenge Trophy Third Round

Park View 3 Newport Pagnell Town 1

Two very interesting Third Round ties this evening, both Aston Clinton and Old Bradwell United will fancy their chances on a Quarter Final place particularly Neil Roberts with his counterpart Chico Ramos still finding his feet at Hitchin Road and losing at home to basement side North Greenford United on Saturday
