Shall we use this thread to debate Saturday's three FA Vase Third Round ties involving the remaining SSML Club's, it's a little disappointing isn't it to only have three in the last 64

Firstly good luck to Eynesbury Rovers who travel to FC Clacton's Austin Arena, Eynesbury Rovers have never been beyond this stage of the competition having lost 3-2 at home to Halstead Town in the Third Round in the 1994/95 campaign. FC Clacton on the other hand have reached the last 32 of the FA Vase twice before, in 2008/09 and in 1974/75 when they were known as Clacton Town.

Good luck to Leighton Town on Saturday when they entertain leaders of the Southern Combination Premier Division Eastbourne Town who reached the Fifth Round of the FA Vase in 1975/76, the Club reached the Fourth Round as recently as 2017/18 and also in 2016/17. As for Leighton Town, the Club reached the Quarter Finals in 2017/18 losing 1-0 at home to 1874 Northwich under the guidance of idolised Scott Reynolds who surprisingly resigned at the end of that hugely successful campaign, prior to that the Bell Close Club's best achievement was reaching the Fifth Round stage in 2003/04:

Newport Pagnell Town entertain Kirkley & Pakefield on Saturday for a place in the FA Vase Fourth Road, the Club reached the Quarter Final stage as recently as 2016/17 when making the long trip to South Shields only to go down 6-1, they have since reached the Fourth Round only last season when losing narrowly 3-2 at Canterbury City. Eastern Counties League Premier Division Kirkley & Pakefield, who are based just outside Lowestoft, have only participated in the competition since 2007/08 and reached the Fourth Round in 2009/10 beating SSML Biggleswade United and Hoddesdon Town en route however apart from that they have not been beyond the Second Round stage. Good luck to Newport Pagnell Town:

Some coverage of the FC Clacton v Eynesbury Rovers tie tomorrow, firstly from the local Cambridgeshire and Clacton press and, secondly, from FC Clacton's website:

The First Team welcome Eynesbury Rovers to The Austin Arena in the last 64 of the Buildbase FA Vase. Tom and the boys will be bidding to make the last 32 for just the third time in the club's history when they take on the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division outfit.

The St Neots based side currently sit 7th in the Spartan South Midlands Premier Division, and advanced to this stage of the competition with a 6-1 win over Milton Keynes Robins in Round Two. Tom Austin's Seasiders reached Round Three with a 4-3 win at Saffron Walden Town, Ricky Griggs and Adam Hampson both scoring twice to see off our Essex Senior League opponents.

Having reached the Third Round Proper twelve months ago before being defeated at Deeping Rangers, Tom and the boys will be looking to go one better this time around. And they need your support! So please support your local club by packing The Austin Arena this Saturday. We look forward to seeing you!

Only 117 reported to be at Willen Road on Saturday, is that correct as it seems very low. The Fourth Round draw takes place at 11.30 this morning so lets hope Leighton Town and Eynesbury Rovers avoid each other as I think both could progress to the last sixteen.

You couldn't make it up could you, Eynesbury Rovers and Leighton Town meet in the Fourth Round at the Alfred Hall Memorial Ground. I suppose it at least guarantees one of our Club's a last sixteen berth and, with a favourable home draw, that could be last eight, I wonder whether Leighton Town are arguably the better equipped to progress with their fan base, current form and resilience to 'dig out' a result against the odds as was the case on Saturday against a dogged Eastbourne Town side.

It is a bit of a shame that the two sides from the Spartan drew each other. But it should be a great tie and might mean a bumper attendance.

The atmosphere and turn out on Saturday at Bell Close was amazing. Eastbourne look to be a good side so it was no mean feat knocking them out.

The next round will be a very tough tie to call. In a recent league game a 2-2 draw ended up being the final result after Leighton were leading 2-0

It's a shame Leighton Town aren't at home isn't it as I can't see Eynesbury Rovers getting 400 plus which would be likely at Bell Close, how many fans did Eastbourne Town bring on Saturday

Not that much information to be found on the three FA Vase ties from Saturday, has anyone seen a match report on Newport Pagnell Town's disappointing defeat to Eastern Counties League Premier Division Kirkley & Pakefield, I gather Newport Pagnell Town didn't come out of the traps and looked lethargic throughout:
