November or December ??

Savagebee - Is there a possibility that the photograph of Ollie could have been taken in late October, leaf fall normally starts around mid October doesn't it or do you think there are already too many leaves on the ground, they also look like they are well trodden in don't they so I think November, or more likely December, is the best bet.

Ollie Bayliss was at the Boreham Wood v Halifax National League Play Off Eliminator yesterday where he had done a nice  article for the match programme, I wonder when Ollie's riveting Non League Show will be back on BBC Three Counties Radio, surely it can't be too long with the new campaign now on the horizon:

Ex Spartan League referee Paul Howard was in the middle.

I didn't know that Paul had reached so far and I am over the moon for him, as you know I took him under my wing at Haringey Borough when he played in goal for the Under 17's and taught him everything he knows albeit not about Officiating as that came later on when he realised that he preferred refereeing to playing.

Ollie Bayliss guested on the Not The 92 Xtra Podcast this week and it's a really good listen, pretty much everything Non League was covered. There is still no news on when Ollie's Non League Show will be back on BBC Three Counties Radio, surely it has got to be in the next two or three weeks with the new season due to get under way in the first week of September:

Ollie Bayliss has made the long trip up to Harrogate today to commentate on the Harrogate Town v Boreham Wood National League Play Off Semi Final this afternoon for BBC Three Counties Radio, commentary can be heard via the BBC website on the Three Counties Radio link. I wonder if Ollie will have time to go for tea at Bettys whilst he is in Harrogate before or after the game:

I expect Ollie Bayliss was a bit down in the mouth yesterday after Boreham Wood had lost 1-0 at Harrogate Town in their National League Play Off Semi Final, I assume that he would have been commentating on the Final at Wembley next Sunday had they got through for BBC Three Counties Radio:

Just a reminder that the other Non League Football Show is still going on each week on Friday's, today's show is already accessible and you can catch up on all the earlier shows via the link below. Sadly host Tim Fuell is not Ollie Bayliss but then who is and it's not a bad listen albeit mostly about the NFL and little or nothing lower down the Pyramid:

Here we go folks, Ollie Bayliss has penned excellent articles for each of the NFL Play Off Final programmes this weekend, enjoy. He could have quite easily just done the same article for all three programmes and changed a few words here and there and the names of the teams but that's not him, he always goes that extra Country mile:

Ollie Bayliss made an appearance on BBC London this evening in a very interesting piece filmed at Coles Park, home of former SSML Club Haringey Borough, in relation to Non League Club's current financial plight, PetetheGreek's friend Tom Loizou also appears:

That was exactly my thought, I have sat in that very seat as well as every other seat in the stand. How have New Salamis settled in out of interet and has Gus Gulfer got his feet under the table, you must be looking forward to your first appointment of the season at Coles Park or have you already done one of their friendlies.

I think Gus has settled in well and would go as far to say New Salamis may just go and win Division 1 this season based on their impressive PSF results.

As for me, I'm taking August off.

Sadly nothing to do with Ollie Bayliss this time but a really good Podcast with the controversial Graham Westley who actually comes across as a very nice guy, Graham has been around the bazaars and has a story to tell:

https://www.buzzsprout.com/264921/4766369

In this week’s episode, we look back to late last year when Rivo caught up with former Preston, and then Stevenage manager, Graham Westley.
On the pod, Graham talks about the start of this playing career with QPR, representing England at U18 level and the impact of working under managers such as George Graham and Barry Fry. Graham also discusses the importance of fitness and his preferred style of play. There's also a nod to Graham’s enjoyable time with Aylesbury United in the early 90’s.

Don't forget that the BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show is back this afternoon (Sunday) at 2.00pm hosted by no other than Ollie Bayliss, it's so good to have it back but you have to ask why it was taken off air in the first place by the clueless BBC due, apparently, to the radio station 'adapting the schedule to provide a vital local service to the Community during the Coronavirus outbreak', quite incredible:

Don't forget the riveting BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show this afternoon (Sunday) at 2.00pm, at least the BBC finally came to its senses and brought the show back, they must have realised their huge and embarrassing mistake and wanted to make amends by giving Ollie Bayliss an additional hour at prime time Sunday afternoon so fair play to them:
