old towner Posted December 24, 2019 Share Posted December 24, 2019 Lyle Della-Verde Lyle is a 24 year-old attacking wide midfield player who represented Hayes & Yeading United until last month, having finished the 2018-19 campaign at Haringey Borough. He started out with Tottenham Hotspur as a youth before moving to Southend United and Fulham, where he signed his first professional contract aged 17 in 2012. After a loan spell at Bristol Rovers he subsequently signed for Fleetwood Town and then Crawley Town shortly afterwards, before moving into non-league football with Welling United, Concord Rangers and Dartford. After starting last season at Braintree Town, he transferred to Haringey via Kingstonian in March 2019. Andy Leese said “Lyle is a player the management team have liked for a while. We had tried to sign him previously and, particularly with current injury and availability issues, it’s great that we’ve got him in at this time to augment the squad.
