Ours is very doubtful at the moment. We have a really bad area in centre of the pitch, which is very soft.

We are trying everything to resolve and met some pitch specialists at the FA, but without digging up and checking drainage, we are limited with solutions mid season.

Going to be a long difficult winter ??‍♂️

I think 99% of games should go ahead today shouldn't they, it's a shame there is a doubt at Abbey Road, I'm planning to get to Winslow United v Bedford this afternoon as I am up that way

You need new batteries in that calculator as 50% of games are OFF

Munchkin - Was that just to lure Harefield United into a false sense of security, if so it worked perfectly

I see a certain Official was all dressed up with nowhere to go this afternoon, I gather the game was called off this morning so at least he didn't travel to the Queen Elizabeth II Stadium, mind you he would have been amongst close friends if he had

Old Bradwell United are a a decent team and not so much of a shock to win today.

You must try harder, Cliff.

Okay, maybe it wasn't Hereford United v Newcastle at Edgar Street in 1972 but it was still a Second Division team beating a Premier Division team

Saturday 18 January

Premier Division

Tring Athletic 2 Arlesey Town 1

The match programme, following an even first period Tring took the lead immediately after the break through Michael Toner and proceeded to make it 2-0 on 51 minutes through Frazier Johns, despite Chico Ramos's men pulling a goal back on 53 minutes Tring Athletic held on reasonably comfortably, disappointingly Michael Toner was given his marching orders just before the final whistle:

Premier Division

Eynesbury Rovers 1 Colney Heath 2

Managerless Eynesbury Rovers made a fist of it at the Alfred Hall Memorial Ground this afternoon against the league leaders who just scraped over the line with a 77th minute winning goal. Eynesbury Rovers actually took the lead on 27 minutes through Steven Gentle but Yasin Boodhoo equalised for Colney Heath  just before the break, it was perhaps inevitable that Jon Clements should find himself in space and round Jamie Greygoose on 77 minutes to slot the ball home for another three points:

Today's match programme, Baldock Town won a tight affair with a winning goal on 63 minutes or, to be exact, an own goal, the match hinged on a ten minute Wembley red card and thereafter the Vale Farm Club were pretty much playing with one arm tied behind their backs:

Too cold to have gone out.

That's strange, it was like a summers day at Elmfields Gate and a great game, the 4-1 scoreline flattered Winslow United slightly
