I'm not sure why Karen has given Leighton Town a midweek fixture ahead of their all important FA Vase Sixth Round tie on Saturday, similar to when they had to travel to London Colney on the Tuesday prior to going to Bradford Town in the Fifth Round.

Like I said, it's incredible isn't it that Leighton Town have a midweek fixture ahead of their all important FA Vase Sixth Round tie on Saturday, identical to when they had to travel to London Colney on the Tuesday prior to going to Bradford Town in the Fifth Round. We know who to blame don't we if Danny Webb gets injured at Vale Farm:

That's if it doesn't get called off :rain:

They are very protective of the hallowed turf at Wembley FC.

Savagebee - That's a point, is it raining over there then as I'm still in Denmark, I wonder if Leighton Town's Chairman Alan Penman was to give a brown envelope to your mate Brian Gumm he would see to it that the game at Vale Farm is called off

Who's Brian Gumm?

Its been raining most of today in Petersham but I don't know what the weather has been like over in Wembley today but its not to far away so I'm guessing its been similar weather to here.

More rain expected tomorrow they are saying.

Premier Division

Harefield United v Biggleswade United

A preview on the fixture at Preston Park tomorrow from Biggleswade United's website:

Harefield United

The Hares were relegated from the SSML Premier Division in 2016 and after a couple of seasons in midtable, they navigated their way through the entire 2018/19 league season unbeaten to clinch the Division One title and earn promotion back to the top tier.

They drew two of their opening four games but didn’t drop a single point after that and also collected the Middlesex Premier Cup with a 2-1 victory over Cockfosters Reserves in the final to finish an incredible year.

Jason Shaw’s side have enjoyed a decent campaign so far as they sit 14th with no threat of relegation but prior to their current run of form, they promised to accomplish something more.

Harefield have lost their last three league matches - most recently a 4-2 reverse at Harpenden Town - meaning their record over the past ten reads six defeats and four draws.

Their home record had been a source of strength but their unbeaten start to the year at Preston Park ended with successive losses to North Greenford United and Dunstable Town respectively.

Nevertheless, Harefield are certainly far sterner opposition than when United last faced them in their relegation year with a 5-1 triumph at Second Meadow coupled with a 4-0 success on the road.

A similar result would be most welcome on Tuesday night when United travel to Middlesex’s oldest club, KO 7.45pm.

I'm somewhat 'confused of Tunbridge Wells' as I thought this fixture was being played last night and Karen didn't indicate that it wasn't, it's this evening at Rayners Lane FC, kick off 7.45pm.

There's an inspection at Haywood Way later on today to see whether this evening's fixture can go ahead

Apparently the game has been given the nod following a pitch inspection so presumably there's no further rain forecast in the Aylesbury area today

Yes I saw that.

The weather is not looking good leading up to Saturday and beyond.

The rain has now stopped here and the sun is sort of out ?
