I assume Karen was at this one, the 2014/15 SSML Division One Cup Final between Crawley Green and Welwyn Garden City, played at Forde Park on Tuesday 28 April 2015, Welwyn Garden City won 2-0 and also won the Division One Championship that season by seven points beating Crawley Green 4-0 at Herns Lane and 4-1 at Sharpenhoe Road. The Club reached the Division One Cup Final again the following season and this time lifted the trophy, beating Edgware Town 2-1 at Cow Lane with goals from Aarron Browne and Fabio Bufano:

Photographs from Crawley Green's disappointing FA Vase First Round exit this season to Eastern Counties League Division One North Fakenham Town, at their Clipbush Park home on Saturday 31 October 2020, going down 2-1. Luke Andrews equalised for Craig Bicknell and Craig Meyrick's men immediately after the hosts had taken a 65 minute lead however Fakenham Town were allowed to go back in front and comfortably held on for victory, they could have extended the lead twice hitting the woodwork:

As we know the 2020/21 SSML season has been unceremoniously 'curtailed' as was officially announced by the FA last week that 'Steps 3-6 will be curtailed' although, in the case of the Bedfordshire County League, it has been declared null and void with no promotion or relegation taking place. The League are preparing to run end of season supplementary cup competitions across all its five divisions, these will commence on Saturday 10 April and run until Mid-May. That includes the Premier Division where Crawley Green Reserves campaign is at a premature halt after just eight League fixtures played, their last outing was on Saturday 19 December when impressively winning 2-1 at top of the table Elstow Abbey with goals from Chris Butler and substitute Lui Sarrington. In addition Crawley Green Under 23's Bedfordshire County League Division Two season was halted after just four fixtures, the last being a 1-1 home stalemate against CS Rovers on 19 December with Emmanuel Kusi netting. Crawley Green's First Team last tasted action also on 19 December when beating Arlesey Town 2-0 at a deserted Brache (see photographs and match report), prior to that Craig Bicknell and Craig Meyrick's men had enjoyed an exciting 5-3 win over lowly London Colney (see report), also at a desolate Brache due to Luton Town being overzealous and pernickety landlords:

Meanwhile the Under 23's side were redundant today in the Bedfordshire County League Division Two due to a waterlogged Real Haynes pitch and will have to wait until next Saturday for their first League outing against Clifton. Last week however they beat Real Haynes 3-2, despite trailing 1-0 at the interval, in a Bedfordshire FA Junior Challenge Cup First Round tie at the Crawley Green Recreation Ground with goals from Emmanuel Kushi and a brace from Luke Andrews, they will now travel to Shefford Town & Campton 'B' in the Second Round on Saturday 24 October

It is understood that the Bedfordshire FA Junior Challenge Cup competition, for Bedfordshire County League Club's below Division One, will proceed next month (see link). Unfortunately however, after defeating Fourth Division Shefford Town & Campton 'B' 2-1 in a Second Round tie, at the Shefford Sports Club on a re-arranged Friday 23 October, with goals from Jurgen Neziri and James Younger, Crawley Green Under 23's disappointingly fell to Third Division AFC Bedford United 5-4 on penalties at the Crawley Green Recreation Ground on Saturday 12 December following a pulsating 4-4 draw, Oliver Brennan, James Younger and Ethan McEvoy with a brace were on target during the ninety minutes play. The Bedfordshire FA Senior Cup and Senior Trophy were unfortunately cancelled this season hence no Cup competition for Bedfordshire County League Premier Division Clubs and Crawley Green Reserves:

Crawley Green Reserves lock horns with Cranfield United, Shefford Town & Campton Reserves and Flitwick Town in Premier Division One Group 1D of the Bedfordshire County League supplementary cup competition. Dates for the six group fixtures, played home and away, have recently been released and Crawley Green Reserves first entertain Flitwick Town on Saturday 10 April before also hosting Cranfield United the following Wednesday evening, they are then at the Crawley Green Recreation Ground yet again on Saturday 17 April against Shefford Town & Campton Reserves, unfortunately all games are being played behind closed doors. Crawley Green Reserves have a fighting chance of winning the group and progressing, they had yet to meet any of their group opponents in the Premier Division this season prior to the abrupt halt being called just before Christmas:
