Next Saturday (10 October) the First team entertain Berkhamsted Raiders who were also victims of the weather yesterday whilst the Reserves travel to AFC Santander.

New Bradwell St Peter Reserves make the fairly short trip to AFC Santander tomorrow for a North Bucks & District League Intermediate Division fixture hoping to get their first points on the board in what has been a very disappointing start to the campaign so far for both the Reserves and the First team who are also pointless. Following last week's postponement of the First team's fixture at Totternhoe, Jamie Green decided to play himself in the Reserve team's Intermediate Division Challenge Trophy First Round tie with Grendon Rangers that still went ahead at the Recreation Ground despite the weather conditions, it was to no avail as he, as well as Conor Webb, could not prevent a 3-2 defeat after extra time and 'the boss' managed to pick up a yellow card in the process. The First team host Berkhamsted Raiders tomorrow who know how to find the net however New Bradwell St Peter won the fixture 4-2 last season, next Saturday (17 October) Jamie Green takes his men to the King George V Playing Fields to take on Sarratt whilst the Reserve team host Tattenhoe:

Sorry folks, it's a slow news day today

It's obviously slow news at the moment so here is an interesting link whereby a naturist (not in that sense) took an idyllic 12.5 mile walk from Fenny Stratford to the Old Woverton Grand Union Canal passing through New Bradwell along the way, I don't believe he dropped into The New Inn though for a swift half:

Is the New Bradwell St Peter YouTube channel still in operation or was it just a five minute wonder by the Club, it's no longer at the link given in the thread below:

A Cheshunt Reserves v New Bradwell St Peter programme and line ups from a 2007/08 SSML Dvision One fixture on Saturday 13 October 2007, resulting in a 0-0 stalemate, New Bradwell St Peter finished sixth that season with Lea Coulter and Greg Tite scoring plenty of goals:

Here we go, New Badwell St Peter were known as Stantonbury St Peters back in the day prior to becoming New Bradwell St Peter in 1946 after Stantonbury St Peters merged with another local Club New Bradwell Corinthians who were experiencing financial difficulties at the time. The photograph was taken the season prior to Stantonbury St Peters winning the North Bucks & District League Championship in 1938/39 just before WWII broke out and the League was suspended until 1946/47 when it resumed:

Photographs, courtesy of Mike Snell Photography, from Aylesbury United Reserves v New Bradwell St Peter in a 2015/16 Berks & Bucks FA Intermediate Cup First Round tie, at the Bierton Village Sports Centre on Saturday 12 September 2015. Then SSML Division One New Bradwell St Peter won 4-2 with goals from Ricardo Archer and a hat trick from Charlie Flanagan, they progressed in the competition to meet SSML Division Two Hale Leys United however lost 6-0 at their Fairford Leys headquarters, the Club were also relegated that season to Division Two for ground grading reasons:

I'm a little surprised nobody, such as Karen, beat me to the punch as at a meeting last night the North Bucks & District League announced that their Club's had overwhelmingly voted to conclude the 2020/21 season by continuing during April and May until each team had played each other the once. The decision hasn't proved popular however surely that is far better than a 'meaningless' supplementary cup competition, the North Bucks & District League hierarchy must feel that they can't win as the main thing is that 'real football' is returning. New Bradwell St Peter Reserves can now look forward to 'completing' their Intermediate Division campaign having last seen action on Saturday 12 December when winning 2-1 at Mursley United Development, Ricci Wigg and substitute Sean Chinakidzwa scored the goals with Jamie 'Jammers' Green no doubt cursing his luck that the First team were at Berkhamsted Comrades that afternoon preventing him from returning to his spiritual home with the Reserves. The week prior to that the Reserve side entertained Great Linford and won impressively 5-1 with goals from Ryan Ramswell, Nathan Skelton and a hat trick from Conor Webb, watch this space for further details on the conclusion of New Bradwell St Peter Reserves North Bucks & District League Intermediate Division campaign:

New Bradwell St Peter Reserves travel to basement Club Hanslope Reserves on Saturday 10 April when they resume their North Bucks & District League Intermediate Division campaign, almost four months to the day since winning 2-1 against Mursley United Development in their last outing on Saturday 12 December with Ricci Wigg and Sean Chinakidzwa on target at Station Road. The following Saturday, 17 April, Willen are pencilled in to visit the Recreation Ground having won six of their eight League matches prior to the lengthy halt to the season. The First team meanwhile have arranged to host Newport Pagnell Town Reserves in a friendly fixture on Saturday 3 April, kick off 3.00pm, unfortunately spectators are not allowed to attend, as is sadly also the case with the North Bucks & District League Intermediate Division fixtures, however presumably it is possible to inconspicuously watch all the games from some vantage point.

A nice New Bradwell St Peter programme cover from the 2000/01 campaign, the Club had lifted the Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy the previous season, under the Management of Andy Milne and Paul Bevis, beating Milton Keynes City 3–1 on penalties at Holloways Park after a 1–1 draw after extra time:

A young 'Mr New Bradwell St Peter' John Haynes is in the team photograph above and here is an interesting article about his life and involvement with the Club he loved:

New Bradwell St Peter Reserves very disappointingly went down 4-2 at Hanslope Reserves yesterday on the resumption of their North Bucks & District League Intermediate Division campaign. There was a better outcome for the First Team who beat Buckingham United 2-1 at the Recreation Ground in the first of their SSML Division Two Spring Cup Group B fixtures, it was an eventful affair with the visitors leading 1-0 at the break before all hell broke loose during the second period with cards being brandished like confetti by pernickety Referee Trevor Gregory who came in for a lot of criticism afterwards, see match highlights below courtesy of Groundhopping FC:
