SSML Managers

Winslow Boy - Yes, I do not understand the Club's thinking, I wonder what AlwaysLeighton thinks of the appointment if he is still involved at Bell Close, maybe they could have better tried to prise Scott Reynolds away from Stratford Fields ?:

The Executive Committee at Leighton Town FC are delighted to announce that Paul Bonham has been offered and accepted the First Team Manager’s position at our football club.

Savagebee - You will recall that Craig used to post on this Forum however stopped in July 2012 due to the Club he was with at the time, Ampthill Town, receiving a fine from the League for comments he allegedly made on the Forum about another Club:

And I remember that story, too. And in my opinion, the committee was just picking on me and decided to make a little money on a level playing field. Why would a person be prohibited from expressing his opinion?

I take it from that you are the great man himself, Craig Bicknell, I wasn't aware you had left Crawley Green until recently and now Craig Meyrick has sadly departed The Brache. What is next for you.

Kevin Christou in at Oxhey Jets ?

I wonder what Tring Athletic think of that appointment:

Oxhey Jets to appoint Kevin Christou as new manager | Watford Observer

Who would have thought that Kevin Christou would work an absolute miracle at The Boundary Stadium which is what he has done since his arrival late last month, I would give my right arm to know what the Committee at Cow Lane are thinking.

Burton Park Wanderers - James Logan

I gather Burton Park Wanderers have appointed a new Player Manager, Kevin Buchanan, formerly with Raunds Town I believe:

Karen - I think we were already aware of his appointment at the beginning of the month, a very nice guy apparently who has already improved results at Latimer Park

Karen - Thanks, I wonder whether Ant Christophi will stay on at Creasey Park:

Ant Christophi was surplus to requirements at Creasey Park however the good news is that he has been appointed as Assistant Manager to Paul Bonham at Bell Close:

An update on Division Two Managers, Jason Penman is the new boss at The 61 FC (Luton), I wonder how long he will last at the Kingsway Recreation Ground. I gather Jason is well known on the SSML circuit and was instrumental as a player for Kent Athletic when they won the Division Two Championship in 2015/16 prior to the Club sadly leaving the SSML that season.

Considering the snipes from some of their fans about reserve players when some moved to Winslow, funny that they seem a lot weaker this season.

We beat them pre season, so not surprised they’ve struggled.

Bateman will steady the ship I suspect and may add a couple. But his trusted players that followed him around are long gone and the recent clubs he was at are higher so don’t expect many to move from there.

Steve Bateman hasn't just added a couple of players ! He seems to be clearing the decks and has made wholesale changes. So far the results have been very mixed and have not led to an upturn of form but it is early days for Steve and he has made shrewd signings in forward Chris Stapleton from Dunstable and experienced left back Danny Murphy but I'm surprised he seems to be changing so many players in quick succession, as that can back fire and also leaves the fans cold with no recognised faces.

Has anyone on here seen Aylesbury Dynamoes recently?

Karen - Thanks, who is it then out of interest, London Tigers is a 'closed shop' and it's almost impossible to find any internal information about the Cub, the same with Milton Keynes College Football Academy.

I see Chico Ramos has departed Arlesey Town, isn't that the eighth Premier Division Manager to leave their Club this season. Player, and former Ampthill Town, Colney Heath, Biggleswade FC, Bedford and Biggleswade United, Adam Randall took charge of the side at Leverstock Green yesterday in an impressive 4-1 win:

CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT : Arlesey Town Football Club and manager, Chico Ramos, have agreed to part company by mutual consent. The club would like to place on record it’s gratitude to Chico for his contribution and wishes him well for the future.

No longer SSML but Ryan Thompson has sadly walked away from Coney Heath after five years, he sounded a broken man on Ollie Bayllis's BBC Three Counties Radio Non League Show yesterday.

General - Thanks and welcome to the Forum, what can we read into that brief statement, has 'Jammers' got a better offer from somewhere particularly as his Assistant and his Coach have departed with him:

Jamie Green steps down immediately

New Bradwell St Peter FC can announce the resignation of first team manager Jamie Green with immediate effect.

The club would like to thank Jamie, his assistant manager Neil Mangan and coach Craig Green for all their hard work over the last year and a half.

The committee wish them all the very best of luck in the future whatever they do.
