Karen - Thanks, if that's the case what an embarrassing cIimb down for Berkhamsted Raiders Chairman Keith PoIIard, who is a Director of the Berkhamsted Sports Ground Charitable Association (BSGCA), where he has to crawI to Berkhamsted Chairman Steve Davis. PresumabIy Kings LangIey have shown the CIub the door then.

I have it on good authority that there will be a grounshare at Broadwater next season, the reason being that Keith Pollard appears to have stood down as Chairman of Berkhamsted Raiders and the new Chairman, namely Christopher Armond, is far more approachable, pleasant and easier to deal with:

St Panteleimon paying cash like everyone else, however I cannot disclose how much you will need to ask the club themselves for the figure.

He stood down as Chair of Trustees, after 13 years hard work as a volunteer, taking the club from around 30 youth teams to 94 plus seniors, disability, and ladies sections. Raiders, - currently, 1,200 players including 250 girls, making it the largest girls youth football club in the country. I understand the ground share resulted from the demise of the BFC reserve team. It makes much more sense for a Berkhamsted Senior team that  is actually made up of players from Berkhamsted to play in Berko rather than Kings Langley. Besides, the girls teams had already been playing at Broadwater on Saturday mornings. Perhaps, over the long term, we'll see an end to the male domination of non-league football? The UEFA Women's tournament this summer will hopefully change some of the "old school" perceptions and boost female involvement.

Well known groundhopper The Wycombe Wanderer visited Latimer Road as recently as Tuesday 27 December last year for the Burton Park Wanderers v Moulton FC Division One fixture and took some very nice photographs:
