Sorry folks, struggling for news at the moment, or newes as Savagebee calls it for some reason. Here's a panoramic view of Totternhoe and the Dunstable Downs, it goes to show how idyllic some of our Division Two locations are. Also see photographs of Totternhoe itself, the Dunstable Downs and the Totternhoe Nature Reserve which is a designated 'Site of Special Scientific Interest' (SSSI), protected by law:

As we know the 2020/21 SSML season has been unceremoniously 'curtailed' as was officially announced by the FA last week that 'Steps 3-6 will be curtailed' although, in the case of the Bedfordshire County League, it has been declared null and void with no promotion or relegation taking place. The League are preparing to run end of season supplementary cup competitions across all its five divisions, these will commence on Saturday 10 April and run until Mid-May. That includes Division One 'A' where Totternhoe Reserve's campaign came to an abrupt halt after just four League fixtures played having won one and lost three, their last outing was as long ago as Saturday 24 October when going down 6-2 at Dunstable Road to Eaton Park Rangers with Ellis Capp and Joe Dixon netting, prior to that they lost 3-1 at Lea Sports PSG with Luke Whitby scoring the goal. Totternhoe's First team meanwhile also completed just four SSML Division Two League fixtures prior to the curtailment, the least games played by any Club in the entire SSML, Chris Harvey's men also last tasted action on 24 October drawing 2-2 at Buckingham United (see match report) and the Saturday prior to that had a positive 3-1 win over Tring Corinthians AFC at Dunstable Road (see match report):

The Reserve team didn't fare any better losing 4-1 at home to Sharnbrook in a Bedfordshire FA Intermediate Challenge Cup First Round tie and had their goalkeeper to thank for keeping the score respectable.

It is understood that the Bedfordshire FA Intermediate Challenge Cup competition, for Bedfordshire County League Club's at Division One level, will proceed next month (see link). Unfortunately however, Division One 'A' Totternhoe Reserves fell heavily at the first hurdle, 4-1 to Division One 'B' Sharnbrook at Dunstable Road on Saturday 26 September, in a First Round tie with substitute, and former Crawley Green and Baldock Town player, Ashley Denniss scoring the consolation goal:

A Totternhoe team photo from the mid 70's, 1976 I believe if anyone can confirm, when they plied their trade in the South Midlands League Division One. Some of the players are Brian Philpott, Fred Cook, Andy Lock, Colin Tibbett, Trevor Soar and 'Scruff' King:

Totternhoe Reserves lock horns with Ampthill Town Develpment, Cranfield United Reserves and The 61 FC (Luton) Reserves in Division One Group 2D of the Bedfordshire County League supplementary cup competition. Dates for the three group fixtures have yet to be confirmed, Totternhoe Reserves are the only side from Division One 'A' whereas Ampthill Town Development, Cranfield United Reserves and The 61 FC (Luton) were all bedfellows in Division One 'B' albeit only Ampthill Town Development and Cranfield United Reserves had so far locked horns at Ampthill Park in December. Both of those sides are also still engaged in the Quarter Finals of the Bedfordshire FA Intermediate Challenge Cup which could be to Totternhoe's advantage, they will be quietly confident of taking care of The 61 FC (Luton) Reserves who conceded 46 goals in just 5 matches played prior to the abrupt halt in play shortly before Christmas.

Totternhoe Reserves triumphed 3-0 at The 61 FC (Luton) Reserves on Saturday (pictured) in the first of their Bedfordshire County League Supplementary Cup Division One group fixtures, on a chilly afternoon at the Kingsway Recreation Ground it was already 3-0 at the interval and Totternhoe Reserves now entertain Cranfield United Reserves on Saturday (17 April), kick off 2.30pm. The first team meanwhile were also in action last Saturday at Sandridge Rovers in a friendly fixture prior to embarking on their SSML Division Two Spring Cup Group A campaign at Bovingdon this Saturday, kick off 12.45pm, Chris Harvey's men disappointingly went down 3-1 against the Herts Senior County League Premier Division outfit (see photographs):
