Now that is what i call a proper non league final as Spalding defeat Real Bedford to reach the National League North for the first time ever. A very late comeback from the Tulips in extra time sealed their victory over the Pirates and will now play Step 2 football next season, the pitch invasion was some experience.

Real Bedford Ladies Reserves finished third in the Eastern Region Women's League Division One North however it could have been so different had Histon FC Ladies not been so dominant in the 2025/26 season with a 100% winning record and conceding just fifteen goals. Real Bedford Ladies were clearly a better side than second place Stevenage FC Ladies Reserves with an emphatic 6-0 victory at Hillgrounds in December, indeed the Ladies lost just four League games all season, two of those to Histon FC Ladies:
