Supremo Rob Sinclair's assessment of the excellent 5-1 victory over Burton Park Wanderers on Saturday, Rob has proved his weight in gold hasn't he since arriving at McMullen Park and fully justified Chairman Peter McCormack's shrewd decision to appoint him:

Also see an interesting post match interview with botTom Wood and new signing Lewis Burgess following the impressive 5-1 victory over Burton Park Wanderers on Saturday. No nonsense defender Lewis, who is also a long throw specialist of Rory Delap and Ian Hutchinson proportions, is surely the icing on the cake this season at McMullen Park and a very shrewd signing by boss Rob Sinclair from Daventry Town where he played for just over a year. Prior to that Lewis plied his trade at Corby Town and Rothwell Corinthians and whilst at University in Bedford was cherry-picked for England Universities where he was instrumental in helping them to lift the prestigious Home Nations Cup:

I never thought I would say this but a good result for Real Bedford last night with Rugby Borough beating Northampton ON Chenecks 3-1, Rob Sinclair's men are pretty much 'home and hosed' now, no pun intended with the Cheltenham Festival this week:

Wednesday 15 March

Division One
Rugby Borough 3 Northampton ON Chenecks 1

Yeah never would have thought a few weeks ago I'd be rooting for Rugby to win games. Massive result and definitely feels like we are done and dusted at this point.

Is it just me or is the guest article in this one a shot at what Peter is trying to do with Bedford?

I see that Bedford Ladies have a Bedfordshire FA County Cup Semi Final tie tomorrow (Sunday) at Biggleswade United Ladies, good luck to them, the winners will meet AFC Dunstable Ladies or Luton Town Ladies in the Final who also meet tomorrow at Creasey Park:

No difficulties whatsoever then for Real Bedford on Saturday, under leaden skies, at Rushden & Higham United's Hayden Road ground in a one sided 5-0 win, and that was without Jordan Brown. Ben McGrath, Kevin Owusu, Ben Fitzjohn and Tom Hitchcock with a brace netted, more details of the proceedings to follow:

What a result for Bedford Ladies yesterday, winning 3-1 at Biggleswade United to reach the Final of the prestigious Bedfordshire FA County Cup for women, Lauren Coppin and Zara Carroll with a clinical brace got the goals. Luton Town Ladies also won 3-1 against AFC Dunstable Ladies in the other Semi Final with Tony Incenzo present at Creasey Park, played on the adjacent 3g surface.

Not Real Beadford but, wait for it, Bedford Town and their Southern League Premier Division Central fixture with Rushall Olympic on Saturday which resulted in a 2-0 win for the high flying visitors leaving Real Bedford's 'illustrious' neighbours in desperate straits, eight points adrift of safety. The match at the Eyrie made Marvin Hagler v Tommy Hearns at Caesars Palace in 1985 look tame in comparison with numerous unsavoury incidents:

How do we see this one going this evening at Fernie Fields, Rob Sinclair's men could even afford to drop points now here and there before the end of the campaign and still comfortably lift the Championship trophy. I understand that spoilsports Northampton Sileby Rangers have declined Real Bedford's request to livestream the fixture, very disappointing and petty:

Frustrating when we can't see the team play but that's how it goes, I suppose. Team hasn't dropped a single point on the road and I'm hopeful they keep that train rolling.

A stark lesson for spoilsports Northampton Sileby Rangers, that will teach them for refusing to livestream the fixture. See a match report and boss Rob Sinclair's post match assessment from the 3-0 win with Tom Hitchcock, Dan Walker and Luke Knight on the score sheet, it's frightening to think that Jordan Brown was once again absent from the line up with the squad being described as 'an embarrassment of riches' which says it all really:

This is wonderful to see isn't it, supremo Rob Sinclair at kick off time at Northampton Sileby Rangers on Tuesday evening wishing his men luck, not that they needed it:

If next Tuesday's Cup Final is not streamed, then that will be 3 matches in a row.

Lutterworth Athletic v Real Bedford

Real Bedford continue their run of away games at Lutterworth this Saturday, 25th March. Unfortunately the match will not be streamed

LondonEagle - Thanks for that, I wonder whether it's a blessing in disguise though as on every occasion an away Club has pedantically refused the livestream Real Bedford have been all the more determined to put them to the sword, meting out comfortable wins every time. I'm surprised at Lutterworth Athletic though as I thought they were a decent Club unless its Leicester City who have refused:

Good news folks and a huge thanks to Bedford Town Football Club, perhaps LondonEagle had a quiet word in the Club's shell-like and made them see sense 😉:

Our next live stream will be v Elstow Abbey in the Beds County Cup Final at Bedford Town. Thank you to everyone at Bedford Town for allowing us stream the game.

Thrilled that we will get a shot to see them win a trophy. Apparently Lutterworth really worked hard to try and make the streaming work this weekend too but it just proved too difficult. Kudos to them for the effort, at least.
