Amazing, the so called Rak Revolution is really taking off big time isn't it, is this 'Off The Post' Blog your handy work too, you're tireless in your efforts to promote the Club and I hope it is being appreciated: https://offthepost.uk/2020/11/19/rak-hudson-edgware-town/

There's a interview with new club captain Stephen Ellery in the match programme for the Harefield game which can be downloaded from our twitter account. GRS67 3
A fantastic start to the Rak Hudson era as the new 'Wares' manager saw his team gain thier first win under his new reign. Despite falling behind in the 4th minute Edgware grew into the game playing some good football and were unlucky to go in at the break 0-1 down. The 'Wares' flew out of the traps in the second period, Tobi Coker scored first on 48 minutes then added his second as the 'Wares' doubled up in the 59th minute. Edgware were playing a quick slick passing game that 4th placed Harefield couldn't cope with. A third goal deservedly arrived on 61 minutes, full back Andrew White slotting home after some neat interplay in the build up. The 'Wares' had further opportunities to increase the score and deservedly gained the 3 points. #thewares Edited December 12, 2020 by GRS67

Rhodes 223
GRS67 - Agamemnon3 has been conspicuous by his absence lately hasn't he and particularly since the win over Harefield United on Saturday, how did Richard Pacquette play out of interest, I don't expect he enjoys playing on 3G surfaces at his age. Rhodes 223
It's a shame Agamemnon3 had to say those hurtful things about Rak on another Forum as it wasn't necessary, I can only assume that Fergus Moore is a personal friend of his and he took umbrage when Fergus was unceremoniously shown the door at Silver Jubilee Park however that's all part and parcel of the game and makes it what it is. He should know that better than most as he clearly knows his onions going right back to the late 50's and early 60's when he lived up in the North East, he also writes extremely well and eloquently. Listen I've always rated Fergus Moore on and off the field but he's left the club now and Rak is now in the hotseat and I hope the club does well as I've always had a soft spot for the club for some reason. GRS67 3
The "Wares" ran out 4-1 winners this evening in a competitive friendly with AFC Hayes, Mariusz Servin with a first half brace, Andrew Ijiwole added a third and Felix Amoah completed the scoring

Rhodes 223
GRS67 - Rak's no stranger to the FA Cup and whilst a Hendon player he helped the Club reach the Third Qualifying Round in 2008/09, the First Round proper in 2010/11 losing 3-2 at Chelmsford City, the Fourth Qualifying Round in 2011/12 and finally the First Round proper again in 2012/13 losing 2-1 at Aldershot. I gather Edgware Town have only ever once reached the Fourth Qualifying Round of the competition, losing 1-0 to a Jimmy Greaves goal at home to Barnet in 1978/79 (see programme cover), so that record could well be equalled or broken next season couldn't it: Edited December 16, 2020 by Rhodes
