Not the most exciting of weeks (no wisecracks please) - no zero scores, no last minute goals in Moscow to swing half the results, and no accusations of systemic corruption or incompetence for the second week in a row - a record I think. Okay so there was a bit of bleating from Blackballed about his recent success going unheralded, but in my defence if I bigged-up Blackballed I'd also have to big-up Dinamo, and I'm not sure that's allowed. Anyway, neither could manage a win this week - enabling Diamond Geezer and Urchin Queen to move ominously up the table. I'd hoped to be able to give Paul C better news, but I'm afraid he made it 4 defeats on the trot. Consistent at least. And the playoffs are still achievable for all. Meanwhile up in Div 1 we have a new leader with Luke fluking his way to the top (yes I know he won the golden boot) to take over from Sir Colin on goals scored. No doubt the fast-fading COYS will happily take this opportunity to bore remind us all about his "Goal Difference Gate" tantrum a few years back. Four weeks to go. Next week we are trying out Super Sunday as it has some decent games. I doubt the results will be out until Monday but I'm sure you'll cope.
