That's a decent attendance isn't it at Dunstable Road and they saw a thriller with Old Bradwell United leading 3-0 after 38 minutes including two dubious spot kicks. The hosts pulled a goal back just before the interval which made for an enthralling second period, Chris Harvey's men flew out of the traps and were level just after the hour mark however the fight back was to no avail when on 81 minutes Jacob Hack kept his cool in the box to fire home.

DIVISION ONE

1-0 Stotfold v London Tigers Attendance: 146

It's always literally a bun fight on a Saturday evening to see which groundhopper on another Forum gets his report in first, it's comical really:

Stotfold 1 London Tigers 0
Spartan South Midlands League Division One
My original plan for today was to use my season ticket and watch Leamington play a league game at home for the first time since March 2020. I found out mid-morning that someone in the Leamington camp had caught the plague so I had to rethink my plans. A quick look at the fixtures and it was off to Stotfold.
Stotfold play at New Roker Park on Arlesey Road at the western edge of town. A decent enough new ground with a seated stand on one side and a covered area on the other side. The locals were friendly but the game was truly awful.
Stotfold were the better team but their final ball once they got near the goal area was awful. London Tigers looked like a team who will do well to finish second from bottom of the division. The pitch was bone hard and extremely dry which didn't help matters. Amazingly Stotfold got a goal on 79 minutes thanks to a mix-up in the Tigers defence which to be honest they didn't deserve. Also the home bench are the biggest bunch of moaners I have heard for a long time. A totally ubnoxious bunch!
Attendance of 146. Admission was £6 plus £1 for a programme.

2-3 New Salamis v Leighton Town Attendance: 52

I wonder whether New Salamis boss Danny Bailey's days are already numbered at Coles Park, his defence are like statues for Leighton Town's winning goal having led 2-0 at the break. Also is the crowd figure of 52 correct, at least half of those must have been visiting fans:

DIVISION TWO

1-4 Codicote v Berkhamsted Raiders Attendance: 56

It wasn't the best of starts for new Codicote boss Caolen South was it, I gather it was 1-1 at the interval at the John Clements Sports & Community Centre however Codicote capitulated in the final sixteen minutes of the proceedings, conceding three times.

This is a ridiculous thing to say, have you even seen them play in the last year? In Danny May Jets have the best player in the league closely followed by Louis Stead, Sean Giordamana and Andy Brennan are cracking young players and of course Rob Partington is peerless between the sticks. Yes Puts is great at this level but to say Jets are a one man team is utter nonsense ?

Do you think they are in a position to challenge at the top? If they half a team made up of players as good you say they should be shouldn’t they? Got a lot of time for Jets.

View From The Boundary - Sorry if I have said something out of turn, I was only wondering where Oxhey Jets would be without all of Lewis Putman's goals over the years
