Hello everyone.

Let’s face it, we all need some cheering up after the Kingstonian result.  So let’s do it.  Eyes down for a full house – here we go, here we go, here we go.  Etcetera.

We have one new player, a Mr “Clive”, who has invoked the help of the Greek God Achilles and his infamous weak-spot.  Welcome aboard Clive.  And, as someone who knows him well, if his predictions are anything like his racing tips I don’t think the rest of us have much to worry about.

As we have an odd number it means the Dummy Team is back in operation, at least to start.  Any new joiner is welcome to buy them at any time during the season – just let me know on here or at a game (if you know who I am).  If not ask someone in the Supporters’ Association.

As normal I'll re-state the rules on a later post after someone has replied to this (otherwise they will get merged into this one).

And so to the fixtures for week one.  Two BIG DERBIES to start – It’s Big Spud v Young Spud, and Lady Jago v My good self.  How exciting.  And the divisions have been renamed as per previous proposal (nobody objected anyway).

Thanks DU. The rules are actually well established and are stated below in a fetching brown colour... It's just their interpretation which I like to use to irritate you (and The Hat of course).  Plus they are in a very small font as they are the essentially the "small print" with which to catch you all out.

Yeah, rule 6 still sucks eggs, yah boo.
In any logical world, if you didn't want a prediction of a Hornchurch defeat then don't include them in the choices.
As a CGI generated Meerkat on a successful advertisement campaign would animatedly say "Seeemples" {although they seem to have dropped that now}
You say "advice", I say constitutional bullying that would have you in front of a tribunal before you could say "Your Honour, I object"
I also don't consider myself "warned", rather "challenged". When I choose to predict against Hornchurch and you want to anonymously "advise" me like a sad little no-life why don't you find me in the ground (your percentage is high, I get to most games home and away and there are enough people who can identify me that if you can't find me you really do have a problem) and tell me to my face why I'm wrong.  

Or, alternatively, John (or Jago, whatever fits) rather than promoting division (as if there weren't enough in the world) why not just not stop making it an issue.
