Jets X 3 MK Irish XII 2

If there's a worse ref than Matthew Paluszkiewicz then God help us, one scandalous decision after another. At one point even overruled the lino to give Irish a corner, from which they inevitably scored.

He had a massive hand in their first too, sending off Ben Barnett for a second yellow for falling onto the back of the attacker's legs when the MK man had obviously run across him (yet he failed to see the most blatant handball when an Irish defender was the last man in the first half ? ). The visitors got their first equaliser from the subsequent free kick, and it looked like a long 40 minutes from there, but Jets young guns chose attack as the best form of defence and soon reclaimed the lead first given them through MOTM Kyal Williams.

It was he who grabbed the winner with a superbly placed free kick into the postage stamp from an angle, and Jets were well worth the points. When it was 11 v 11 it was one way traffic, the ref should have worn a green and white shirt second half. I'd be interested to know what PetetheGreek thought about some of the decisions, posturing and histrionics from his colleague, who laboured under the misapprehension that we were all there to watch him.

Fantastic win for the Jets, Tuesday will be the acid test against a side who put 3 past our 10-0 conquerors New Salamis today, but we continue making great strides and with a real spirit.

It's never difficult to work out which game you are allocated, it must get boring going to the same grounds every week.

I wonder whether this result saved Chico Ramos's job at Hitchin Road:

With that line up on paper Arlesey Town should be running away with the Premier Division, it's strange isn't it, Herculano Carvalho was courted by Inter Milan at one point, amongst other top Club's, and I believe had trials at the San Siro:
